Kind of a slow week on the H/H match front. Richard was chosen every time. Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 80% (4 wins in 5 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Betty - 50% (15 wins in 30 attempts). Fannie - 46.7% (7 wins in 15 attempts). Charles - 45.7% (16 wins in 35 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 36.4% (87 wins in 239 attempts). Brett - 35.3% (12 wins in 34 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 460, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
Exactly. Blood is the only logical answer, except maybe "Mary" -- Dora was so dumb, she thought she couldn't make a bloody Mary because she didn't have any Mary... Buck's answer surprised me because I thought he was starting to get the hang of it yesterday. The challenger's answer was also surprising because she'd given some good answers in the past.
Ira won a box of Rice-a-Roni but that's not what I wanted to say. I wanted to say that I think I'm in love with Sandy. She is the PICTURE of femininity.
Well Richard won the week giving away 12,000 dollars in head to head and audience match matches with 14 matches for the regulars. Gary won for the semi regulars with 10 matches.
We don't know all the ins and outs of "the business" but I have a feeling that entertainers have things they have to do to keep their careers active or something. Actors make movies that are total box office losers in order to fulfill the conditions of their contracts with management. I think the game show circuit (and maybe the talk show circuit too) might be part of those agreements.
Edward Lozano didn’t check the link but assuming you’re talking about the food? If so, grew up on that stuff. Great comfort food. Especially on a winter night.

3:09 Yes, but I have to assume in jest. When he said "us cowpeople don't drink," he couldn't have been serious if he were speaking for all of them. As to whether he ever drank or was drunk on the show-I couldn't tell. This is my only exposure to him, and I found him very entertaining. I think he had a quirky, sarcastic, dry sense of humor and made things up to cover for a bad answer and/or throw people off. At some point (in a previous episode this week) he referred to himself as a professional tennis player in the context of... I forget, but it was funny and obviously untrue.
Can't wait for Gary Burghoff to leave. He's so annoying insulting Brett every chance he gets and his attempt at being funny that I've skipped several episodes. Guess he has to try for attention to make up for short man/hand syndrome! Kudo's to Brett, Richard, and Gene for totally ignoring him!!
“Drive Time Co”...that woman you have screaming is the worst. It makes me idmm click off the ad. Might be nice to not annoy future customers with a woman screaming ridiculous crap right out the gate. ANNOYING WITH A CAPITAL A.
Buck is quite a character.
I loved his outfits! Yesterday's boots were awesome and today's shirt is particularly spectacular.

The bloody mary questions really showed how some people have no idea how the game works.

I agree. When women looked normal and healthy; not anorexic-like and so thin that they could walk through a harp and not touch the strings.
Sandy is lovely. She looks like a voluptuous Katharine Ross.

Hungarian goulash is all I could think of
4:20 a ripe pumpkin.
Buck was funny. I would have said blood, for the Dumb Dora question. Some of the " riddles" were difficult.
Yep.
Did Buck Owens really want to do this show?
Buck wasn't himself after the tragic death of his long time guitarist and friend Don Rich in 1974...
Thanks very much, Steven, for the insight.
No.

@@GizmoFromPizmo Yes, it keeps them noticed.
With my fruit of the looms. 💕
Shorts = Longjohns.............?!
Bizarre decision.
It shouldn't.
They threw FISH AT THE WEDDING
Long johns are not shorts.
I was wrong about Buck. He DIDN'T get the hang of this show!
Oh that was so good when Richard burned Gary with fruit of the loom.
Count down until he finally leaves?
Ten more till Charles!

Did Buck Owens say he didn't drink? Seriously??!!
I'm not sure.
He did, yet he seemed like he was drunk much of the time.

Evening Shade! ;0) Too soon? ;0)
Lol, I just said that
Joanne looks like a young Kathy lee Gifford , imo
Volume not so good on this one but still love the show
Huh?
Volume was great for me
If you wear Bluetooth headphones, they might need charging or adjusting...just a suggestion.

In time I get tired of seeing the same person win over and over again.
