Yes, ridiculously too easy. As far as I can remember, this is the first time that a tie breaker has ended in a 6 - 6 tie. It would actually be hard to come up with an alternate answer for either question. For the bearded lady question, "quit" might be the only other even remotely logical answer...
You know, Gary had his issues on this show. However, one thing I can say for him, is that he actually tried to give answers that helped the contestants and not just trying to ham it up for the camera, (like Brett, etc., )
He got somewhat better, but the first several weeks he was on, he was horrible. Even when asked as one of the three panelists for the audience match, more than once he said he couldn't think of anything and laughed it off.
There were times when he really did not give answers for the contestant benefit. He seemed to only want to be funny. But if the celebrities only tried to match contestants the show might not have been funny.

Buck Owens again...yay!! I watched this mainly during summer, it was on while I was in school before they had the PM version.Buck was a cutie! Always thought Radar was funny.That woman got 4 matches for bow and arrow, and the audience had booed her answer.Sometimes the audience was rude. I was 13 during 1974, and watched this game from 1973-1979, but I never heard of that Gloria and Patti, and never heard of Fannie Flagg, either.I don't recall them as celebs. Usually the celeb players were TV stars or singers.I never, ever missed an ep of Hee Haw, and was crazy about Buck. I hated it when he left that show during the 1980s. TV censors were still strict in the 1970s, it's a wonder "boobs" was allowed, as an answer on this game ep.
I really don't get the hate for Gary Burghoff. Maybe he hogged the camera a bit in a few of the earlier episodes and he's certainly no CNR but really he's not that bad and can be quite funny sometimes
He became more tolerable over time-the producers must have talked to him at some point as there was a noticeable change, or maybe he realized he had to tone things down after Gene told him to shut up. Also, he behaved better in the presence of certain guest panelists. Nobody can fill CNR's sockless shoes, but I'm OK with Gary for the duration in his chiller state.
