Great video my friend, It just amazing how a simple placement of the right figures, accesories and vehicles conforms a great diorama without investing more money for art design or materials.
Brilliant! I now have a newfound appreciation for this scene. You've created a very accurate depiction here. It's not very often we see a diorama with a positive vibe-nice for a change. I love the paint scheme on the R5 unit included in the "Scramble" battle-pack; you should consider including him in the display. Excellent job, as always.
Heard you on "Boring Conversation Anyway," and thought I'd check you out. I'm glad I did! I love your diorama ideas! Simple, creative, and very effective. I love this Yavin diorama in particular. Very nice!!
I love this video! I saw that smiling Luke when I was in Singapore but I passed on it that time. After seeing this video, I regretted not picking it up huhuhu. Fantastic diorama Ed. really inspired with your ideas and creativity. Thumb's up Ed!
Awesome diorama man, some great figures in there that you have and love the rotating platform too-defo on the hunt for one of those. Liked and Faved-thanks for sharing good sir!.
I put smiling Luke's head on comic pack Luke with the flight suit tied around his waist, and sat him in a Skyhopper with that cockpit junk taken out so you can see him. Sometimes I'm impressed with my own genius. As I am with yours sir. This was great! May the Force be with you always.
Fantastic! Man you really have some great accessories to add to this one.---Your are right---There are plenty of figures and ships out there to make just about any scene----Looks great
Since most of these sets are all expensive now a great set to buy would be the Yavin Pilots pack. It comes with 3 pilots (including Porkins), an astromech droid ( i think an R6 series), and Tie pilot.
@FallenJed1 Thanks a lot bud, really appreciate the kind words. Yeah, the smiling luke I thought deserved a display, nobody ever plays with this figure lol. I love that R5 too, but he supposedly died with red leader on the death star boo... thanks for watching, and hope to see you more often!
Really nice display once more! Man, you are so lucky having 2 X-Wings! I've been looking for one for a loooooonnnnngggg time, but no luck. Hopefully, they'll re-release it soon. I also need to find a Wedge Antilles. Nevertheless, awesome idea, and I can't wait to see more budget dioramas!
really cool luke figure and a really good price even for a normal figure but it being a sdcc figure makes it an even better deal. really great set up from a really cool scene, great work man :)
Hey thanks a lot for checking it out man. Yeah i got lucky because i actually got that x-wing at a clearance. however, the modern one you can get it from toys r us website it's free ship!
Thanks, not sure if i'm the right person to answer that because I'm not a big prequel trilogy fan however, my favorite scene in ROTS is definitely yoda vs. sidious duel, or anakin beheads dooku that's gotta be one of my faves too. thanks again for watching
@ALittleBitLifeSize Thanks bud! haha I was so excited to have smiling luke and i could not think of any other scene where he was smiling haha. Thanks for watching!
@SteveSabbai lol omg i just realized that c3po was touching leia in weird places haha. Dude what?! $99 for scramble on yavin? not worth it! YES, international sellers like tunghori are people who have access to action figures that did not pass QC. So you can't expect much quality. But this one i purchased really was only for the head sculpt. Thanks for watching and paying attention my friend really appreciate your helpful + funny comments
Great work woow realy impresiv the way that turn out is not much work but with out the figures there is also no diorama , you did there a master peace diorama :) Keep this great work my friend!
@TheForceIsWithJesse Thanks man hahaha. Ebay is great for cheap figures with lower quality haha. Thanks so much for watching and the kind comment as usual Jesse
@aliasangelalias Thanks for the kind words my friend. Yeah I was so excited about my smiling luke that i had to use him in a mini-scene. Regarding figure stands, that really depends on your preference. I like clear stands they do not intrude visually so i bought them in bulk. But if you just let your figures stand on shelf, then the SL stands are just great, and some people even just use mounting putty that works great too!
@HighlyDetailed Thanks a lot, not at all, the video is enough and i love sharing with my friends, thanks so much for watching and commenting my friend!
Thanks for watching I am working slowly on a hoth wampa cave that's about it. If you want to see full scale large base dioramas, be sure to check out dioramaworkshop channel now that is a real diorama maker cheers
@StarWarsNZReviews Thanks for watching man, YES, you gotta get yourself a rebel transport speeder! Anyone who loves ships and hangar scenes must have one
@00fire501 Thanks, you have some of the most amazing displays (pure collection displays) too, I'm a huge fan of your imperial stuff. Can't wait till your next vid man, thank you again for the comment
Hey I'm going to make a star wars diorama but idk what scene to recreate I have lots of rots figures and the only scene I don't want to make is the volcano one and I don't have mace windo for that scene so which one should I make and another good job by the way
@MrNinjaMittens hahah dennis the menace indeed! YES Farlander is one of EUs best pilots. Oh really? you gots to have leia in white but i wouldn't be surprised if TVC releases her soon. Thanks for watching man appreciate the funny and kind comment as always
Nice TBJ, I thinks it's awesome you kept it simple I think that's the most important thing! I gota get me a rebel transport speeder and an honour guard!!!
Fantastic my friend fantastic watched twice! , I think also by simply switching off the room's main light of and angling a lamp light over the display would add dramatic effect and also tie in with the very low budget (figures and vehicles permitting) requirement given the hanger scene is somewhat in shadow. Hope your well Ed. Cheers Dan.
Nice display. Btw Viperskingdom, I purchase from him before. He seriously have some cheap loose figures for sale. Anyway, this quick display that you did is simply fantastic! I love how you think, you are truly creative. I have so much to learn from you Jedi Master of Diorama. I wish I live close to you so that I can create beautiful photography with your display. Btw, I been thinking of buying those clear figure stand in your video, are they better then the Saga Legend figure stands?
@TheDarthPrime Thanks man, yeah once in a while I'll look at my collection and say 'hey i have enough to complete a movie scene!" lol. Imagine doing that with 12' figures? that would be epic. Appreciate the comment bud
If only it were true, I checked and the Trench Run pack is only available for in-store pick-up now, and no Toys R Us in a 50 mile radius from my house has it in stock. :( I only really wanted the X-Wing anyway seeing as how I already have a Tie Advanced. Thanks for telling me about it anyway!
yea one of my favorite sellers! i would switch the head and put it on the jedi knight luke. his smile might come off as more of a demented look as he duels vader. your rotating plate sounds like its grinding a mouse! i have one of those things too i got at tjmaxx for $5...mine sounds smooth after some DW40, however is totally off-center and rotates in an elliptical way. very cool display
...@2:25 will Hasbro be releasing that Xwing by itself? i want just that Xwing without Vaders Tie Fighter. Also is that Xwing size accurate to the Vintage Collection Ywing & Bwing...
What a great display on one of the, IMO, coolest, yet freakiest Star Wars figures ever! What a great job!
Great video my friend, It just amazing how a simple placement of the right figures, accesories and vehicles conforms a great diorama without investing more money for art design or materials.
Yep,im here once again drooling and admiring your awesome display-love that colour scheme on the astromech from the rare yavin pack!
Brilliant! I now have a newfound appreciation for this scene. You've created a very accurate depiction here. It's not very often we see a diorama with a positive vibe-nice for a change.

@TheBudgetJedi Very well done and cleverly executed as always!
Great little set up, and you have the scramble on yavin battle pack with the cool red R5 droid! Sooo need him for my R5 collection!
As usual a fantastic display! I'm really hoping that Hasbro releases this X-Wing by itself in the near future.
