Yes! I'm sick of people poking holes in Thanos's plan too. It's almost as if a character called "Thanos the Mad Titan" might be slightly irrational in his solutions to problems. Ultron tried to cause human extinction in Avenges 2 and gave cool speeches to try and justify it, but nobody ever does video essays titled "Why Ultron's Plan To Cause Human Extinction Would In Fact Not Help Humanity" because we gave each other a tad more credit to logically conclude that. But yeah, Infinity War and Into the Spider-Verse were great films (And I personally really enjoyed Venom and Aquaman too). Also Isle of Dogs and some cool Pixar short films were out this year, it's been a really good time for animation escaping its usual trappings this year!

As for the why no one complained about ultron's plan part, I think it had to do with the way the characters in the cinematic universe relate to their comic book counter parts. Thanos in the comics is not trying to wipe out half the universe, he's trying to rule it to impress death and win her heart. Ultron however, in both the movie and the comics, wants to kill all humans. I can go more in detail but this is already a novel, so I'll end it here.

The endings of these never EVER fail to make me cry laugh.. the bit when you catch the “change” with your foot oh my god it killed me.. The ending how you both break character but still run with the joke that is where the real comedy comes from.. you two good mates talking funny shit haha. Please don’t stop making these!!
