hello!!! I know this is an older video, but I just discovered you and have been binge watching your videos. I just want to tell you how much you brighten my days. I was in an accident a few years ago and I broke my hip, my neck and my back. At the time I was a paramedic and used to a very active life. Since the accident I have had 8 back and neck surgeries and I'm only 32. I started quilting a few months ago to give me something to do and give me a skill I could use to possibly make some money. I just recently decided I wanted to learn to make clothes, since again, money is tight. I have four little girls that go through clothes like nobody's business. I was such a tomboy growing up and I think God decided that it would be funny to give me all girls. My oldest is 9, then I have a 7 year old and then 4 year old twins. Anyhow, after my accident I thought my life was essentially over. I was used to working 80-90 hours per week and not worrying about my spending habits. Since then I have had to learn to stretch every penny and I think that making some of our clothes will help stretch that penny further. So my point in telling you all of this is that there were days I hated to get out of bed and occasionally I still have those days, but praise God they are fewer and farther between. You have played a role in that. You are just a ray of sunshine! and not only that, but I've learned a ton too! I just wanted to let you know that you helped to light up some of my darkest days! So THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!!!
Awww....I was at the Expo too! Made me sad to learn they are not going to be back though. I was the lady dragging a huge bag of fabrics from the Vogue booth. LOL I shopped with Cutting Line too. Sew It Up is a fabulous shop. Super nice people and lovely fabrics.

Oh, my! What a blessing your comment is to me. The very best compliment I ever receive is that I have helped another person in some way. You will love sewing. Just be sure to stop every hour and stretch and walk around. Quilting too. Too much sitting is not good. I will pray for your continued healing, Jenny. Hugs, Joy
