i think it’s simpler to use a face cleanser formulated by scientists than african black soap that has way too high pH level for your face and damages your natural skin barrier coming from a person who tried african black soap and did their research
@@haley9 I feel you. I’ve been using black soap since I was little so my skin likes it. In the winter it can be harsh tho so that’s when I’ll switch to a simple gentle cleanser. Or just combat it by hydrating my skin more.

my friend put me on aveeno for my face and it’s the holy grail it makes me look glowing and not oily and my friend tried cerave and it made her skin textury but the aveeno worked wonders for her so she’s switching back

Ok I need this sunscreen because its been hard for me to find a good sunscreen with brown skin that doesn't leave that white opaque color and just blends in nicely.
My skincare routine has been all oil based since I was 14, I’m 18 and since then all through highschool till now, I was always known as the girl with “good skin” even my family acknowledges my skin😂, and up until then I never really had that great of skin especially on my forehead which tended to be my problem area. Ppl really need to stop running away from oils, it’s truly the holy grail of skin care, I don’t use chemicals at all and my skin is great and has been for years ☺️. Also it’s so simple, recently I’ve only been using vaceline + aloe Vera oil + argon oil + sunscreen and my skin is still amazing even when I don’t use that many type of oils like I did when I started this journey. But ima definitely add rose tip oil to the mixture cause you’ve sold me on it 😅
Oh wow yes same I started using rosehip seed oil and i lovee. it's one of the best oils and in my opinion the best anyway. I too mix that with moisturiser or layer it on top. I've heard be careful using it in the day outside because it's a natural source of vitamin a which is a retinol. But always use sunscreen too is a good thing we don't want uv damage no no. Also YES same here. I was going ham on my skincare thinking what I was some sort of esthetiacian or something and using clay masks, steamers, exfoliating like multiple times at once and drying outtt. If only I realised SIS JUST HYDRATE. What a game changer. I stopped my entire routine and started simply cleansing and moisturing. Now I do the least. It's better that way. I don't know if the face can reproduce sebum (natural oils)if it's not so much but sha I'll have to just see. Tip for anyone. Be careful with the skin around your eyes. It's the thinnest part of our body and face and prone to ageing first. Try not to tug, pull and do the most.

That sunscreen is what my family uses also. I stopped for a long time but am going to get back onto it. I only stopped bc I got lazy and 1 day of forgetting to put it on turned into years, yes, years. But sunscreen is very imporant so please use it. I highly recommend the one she used in this video. I even saw that Bargain Hunt carried some and it wasn't old, clumpy, or any of that.
I always wanted to give the Dudu Osun black soap a try for my hyperpigmentation, but because of other people's experiences with using the soap, I have been rather skeptical. Well, most people swear by it, that it actually works, but there are some other people who have used it and said it dried their skin or made acne worse.
I was the same. Try the fragrance free one. Follow up with your treatment (I use lactic acidosis and then follow up with a hyaluronic acid) and then a intense moisturiser (aveeno is great, ponds is nice - use whatever works best for you). DONT FORGET SUNSCREEN IN THE DAYTIME
I really been looking for a true way to lighten the dark under my eyes. I wear glasses and I am self conscious about not wearing my glasses because of the dark under my eyes. So I really hope this works for me. Thank You🤘
Love how she's keeping it simple but I wouldn't recommend the bar soap because it can become dirty or contaminated if you don't keep it away from germs, besides the ingredients are natural and there is no scientific study that backs up the products for now and silicone scrubs are a no no. Use chemical exfoliants instead like AHAs or BHAs. And try adding niacinamide or vitamin c to your routine. I really don't know about combing tea tree and Rose hip oil but if it works for you I guess it will do and it's three fingers of sunscreen for maximum protection not 2. Thank you
