After the disaster of the 2018 film, they should reboot the franchise with a direct sequel to the orignal film, adapting Concrete Jungle as the story. I mean, this was really Predator 2 before Predator 2 was a thing

Yeah this was clearly made before the second film as in that film we do actually learn more about how Yautja behave and this story heavily conflicts with it. In the films when a human like Dutch or Harrigan manage to actually get the best of a yautja, it actually earns the respect of the hunters. Heck at the end of the second film Harrigan was actually given a trophy by the elder Yautja as a sign of said respect. They don't turn around and come gunning for these people who took out their brethren. And they most certainly don't send an invasion force, sending an entire group of them after ONE man. Again in the second film we actually saw that while Harrigan was fighting this single Yautja, the others were actually watching! Letting the fight play out as it will with Honor and the code of the hunt playing big roles in their society.

You speak as if all Predators are the same, but if you've had any experience with humans, you should probably expect Predators to have cultural and behavioral differences as well.

This whoever results in themselves getting hunted by their own people who have very STRICT rules about the hunt. This is a race that treasure honor above everything else and as a whole they never tolerate those who break those rules resulting in either death or exile.
I looked at it less as they were gunning for revenge and more that they were looking to test themselves against the most recent Human that managed to take down one of their own. Because Dutch had dropped off the grid, either being kept under heavy wraps by OWLF or simply eliminated, they went after his brother in the hopes of drawing him out.

Absolutely fantastic!!! im on my third run listening to this now and ive soaked up just about everything youv uploaded multiple times over the last two weeks. Always been a massive Alien and Predator fan but not really a sci fi fan if that makes any sense. I remember watching the first Predator film in the early nineties, i wouldv only been about 8 or 9 and i remember all my mates at school wanting to be fighter pilots (Topgun was big amongst us lads back then and everyone wanted to be Maverick) or racing drivers or wrestlers etc. I used to fantasise of being a predator/Yautja and equiped with all the cloaking gear, the cool as f bio mask, the shoulder cannon (plasma caster) and the wrist blades, god i so wanted a set of Yautja wrist blades as a kid. Anyway AlienTheory you sir are the man, you're content is exceptional, I absolutely love these audio adaptions of the comics you do im addicted to this one and (obviously) the Battle for Ryushi content (im not embarrassing myself by admitting to how many times ive listened to that content now) you deserve a shit ton of credit for the effort you put into this channel (it shows) and i for one am thankful that i stumbled across your channel just wish id come across it sooner. Thankyou, your time and dedication is greatly appreciated.
There are clerical issues here and there, both regarding the names of firearms and calibers, but honestly... if that's the price I gotta pay for such wonderful narration, then I can absolutely deal with it. I adore this channel, and the content put out. It's all great fun, presented in a manner that's easily digested, and keeps me on the edge of my seat, ready to hear and see yet more. Frankly, you could likely get away with a purely voice-over version of what you make available for us few viewers.

Concrete jungle was probably one of the best books I ever read, second only to , the meg , brilliant book and to find it on audio is even better , cheers for this
Years back a flash flood put my garage under a few feet of water destroying many possessions but some I really miss were the Predator and Alien illustrated stories like this. Really hope you continue the story of Noguchi and her adventures in hunts and eventual return to the human race as I miss my books. 👍🏻
