Ive played games with shadowkiller quite often in the past yet I always forget how cheerful he tends to look while gaming.

Great race. Lufia 1 & 2 are such underrated classics. Nice to see a race with 2. Absolutely loved this series as a kid.

Wow, props to the person who donated $4500 right at the beginning of this video. That's an insane donation.

    Gades blades for everyone!
Poor Jenja. The game gave him Gades blades (yes, in plural) and the shaft.

I can attest from personal experience that stairless rooms can -- and do -- happen. They are...in a word: demoralizing.
Especially when you hit one 70+ floors in. =_=

There are so many things that they can fight in the latter levels that they ignore for whatever reason. Like the cyclops. They are super easy to get a surprise attack on and if you feel the battle is too dangerous, run and reroll the fight. Wasted xp especially if you have a deadly weapon.

While they want the exp, they also want to go fast. If they don't have to farm, they won't. They'd reset a run way before it would have gotten bad enough to warrant farming.
As you've seen in Shadow's run. Once he had the equipment and exp off of the cubes, he booked it.

for AC runs you dont need exp at that point anymore. The only time you ever want to get exp are floors 11-13 (red cores), possibly skeletons if you got no cores at all, floors 31-33 (blue cores, very optional), 42-44 (green cores, almost a necessity if you got no blue cores) and 57-59 (No Cores, which offer the most exp of any mob in the ac).
There is no reason to ever want to go after other mobs for exp once you pass those floors, because you want to spend as little time fighting as possible (those times add up very fast). Your statgains other than health dont matter much for survivability by then, and for the jelly fight itself levels are not important at all. A level 1 party with full IP and the right gear can kill the jelly. Finally, there is only one reason you ever seek an encounter in the late floors (95+) and that is to grind IP in case you need it, which you will usually want to do on copper dragons normally.
So the tl;dr for the "they ignore for whatever reasons" is simply; they dont need to encounter anything.
