man this speedrun is so goated I rewatch it decently often it's so entertaining all around from the technical stuff of the console or the speed run to the story summaries to the jokes.
Regarding the "Tiger" reference, here's an explanation. Cless and Klarth have a man-to-man talk, or rather, Klarth just brings up the girls. In the fan-translation, made by DeJap years ago, Klarth flatout asks Cless that, if he were to bed one of them, which one would he prefer. The conversation roughly goes like this "Mint has that calm innocence about her, but I bet Arche f*cks like a tiger". In no way was that what was said, but the DeJap translators felt they should spice up the mood probably. So yeah, thats what the "Tiger" refers to. And Yagamoth (the runner) is a very family-friendly runner, and obviously the event itself is family friendly, so... while laughing, obviously that was a minor uncomfortable moment for them all.

I know everyone is enamored with Caeshura but damn I love the runner, he comes off as a good guy and has a welth of knowledge about the game. Unlike some runners that only know the bullet points and leave dead air cause they don't know the story of the game
They forgot the GBA port, which had saves without microtransactions. This was released in 2006 and it is the most polished official version of ToP in English.
i remember playing this game on ps1 as a kid in japanese version and were stock cant advance the main quest. i replay this game on gba version and i finish it around a 3-4 weeks compare to this just 4 hours
less text loading. english using a combination of alphabet to represent a word, meanwhile japan kanji often use 1 symbol/alphabet for 1 word. if this not a speedrun, I will be mad too lol

Yagamoth is legit one of the more wholesome runners out there. He's very chill to watch and is very respectful towards pretty much everyone.

While every face in show just zoned out, I really enjoyed the explanation on mechanics for how the SNES handles transparency and layers.

What is the trick so that enemies do not separate you using the sacred bottle? I also use the bottle but enemies still come out.
