You surely know the Petersons . They record with 3 micros plus one for the bass. The high tunes are stronger, so the bass is only for the eye, if you don’t pick it out. But it’s worth. And your sister as well. Think about it. Give her bass solos as well.

HAHA, the cat sleeping through the whole thing! When my cat sees me coming with an instrument, he books. I’m not sure whether it’s because I’m an awful musician in his eyes, or whether it disrupts his valuable naptime. Probably both. Somebody gave me a flute and I’m going to start trying that out. You know how when you start a new instrument - especially a really different one - you’re (not to put too fine a point on it) pretty horrible? For that reason, I think I might follow the cat around with it.

I can tell Cecilia has strong Bluegrass influence from the force she uses on her guitar down strokes on the beat. Most rhythm players aren't that disciplined like in Bluegrass. Being a guitar player myself I notice. Nice seeing some of these practice session videos.
