- A random text message informed me that a package of mine had been found and it contained $500,000! Could it be true? Or is it a scam?

Love it when you win half a million over a text....

I know right! I bought my mansion and sports cars with my Google Voice Bucks.

If you are a scammer and you are beaten by Ben Dover you basically are done
Well done. Overcooked even.
I PROMISE! But I would not pay! LOL Sorry you got scammed!
It was Al Bebak this time...
LOL not even close... For one Ben Dover he probably successfully scammed 10 other people.
Don't for get Hugh Jass, when he steps in you better look out.
I’m very happy Kingsley made a full recovery. Go Kingsley!
Rock on...!!! Keep up your awesomeness...!!!
Thanks.
Woohoo!!!
How does anyone watch pleasant green say "theres a guy dying right now but rather than Immeadiately raise money for him, let me instead WASTE his time and make him get up and do work when he's most likely tired and in pain and has no energy because even when you're dying you better sell something and spend your energy worrying about making some bs product cuz people won't donate to dying peolle unless they make some product"
This is despicable behavior. Pleasant green is such a disgusting despicable person

“we will handle and torture them”
holy shit that made me laugh.
Right there with ya😂
Same!😂
Ikr! That took a dark hilarious turn 😂
😂
“You won 500,000$!” - sleep
“Kindly” - “So that’s when I knew it was a scam”.
🤣
Good morning Sir
ending the phrases with ok too.
Oh man I lost it at “well torture them” 😂😂 my favorite episode by far
"We just caught two men in our custody." Uh, how hard is it to catch two people who are already in custody?
*They must be cutting back because I've won $1 million!*
A million is NOTHING! I know a way you can get FIVE MILLION, and it's EASY. "Ask me How." [insert Scam here] Heheeheh
Lol
The "investigator" does say at one point that the "scammers" spent a bunch of your "winnings", so that explains the shortfall.
@@uplink-on-yt 🤣
well, you know--- inflation! lol
"You don't need to worry sir will handle and torture them"
bro I can't with these guys omg 💀
your pfp was my reaction to hearing him say that
It's inspiring to see his determination and grit in the face of adversity. I hope this story encourages others to choose honesty over deceit.
Glad Kingsley has a second chance at life 💪🏻
Kingsley is a good dude! Facing death and still wouldn’t do any wrong… so glad his story had an amazing ending
His life was hard, but he never scammed a single person in his life.

@@davidt8087 you sound so much of an entitled wussbag right now buddy. You know how many people in the world die and dont get any help? Instead of being a negative ahole, why not thank god this man got help no matter how and that his life is better for it.
@@davidt80872/10 ragebait, this might've worked if he had a naive demographic but ur outta luck love

I just inherited $10M from a Saudi prince. I just have to pay $1000 for an agent to deliver it
Don't worry, I know a Nigerian prince that can send me the money. I'll spot you the thousand.
Sounds legit pay the money & enjoy 😂
do it , pay and enjoy . 🤣
Congratulations 🎉🎉 you are sooo lucky

When you see the word “kindly” get out of there, it’s always a scam.
Kindly and blessed
Hooray for Kingsley and all wonderful Nigerians who have beautiful hearts and want to contribute good things to the world!
Just take the $500 from the $500,000.
And give me $499,500
Sorry, that is not possible because it's in bills of $10,000.
Ben, you are an amazing person. That update from Kingsley made my eyes water. I wish him all the best.
You remind me that people can make a positive difference to someone elses life!
"A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees."

I have a feeling scammers aren't educated enough to scam people properly. You can easily notice it's a scam by their grammar, shitty offers and unprofessionalism.
A lot of the time that is intentional. They figure if someone is gullible enough to overlook the red flags, they will be gullible to send them money.
As a Nigerian, most of those that scam are either illiterate or semi-illiterate. Many of them use chatgpt now.
The few literate ones run bigger scams.
I think about this everytime I see a scam message somewhere. It's probably because the people who put in the time and effort to better themselves legitimately want nothing to do with scamming or they are so good at scamming that you rarely see them sending the everyday email, think about a teamlead at a callcenter or something, it wouldn't suprise me if those positions are achieved through volume of scams performed successfully by that person, like a sales office.
@@Makerr8 I can agree with you on that.
It’s a filtering mechanism.
Great day when Pleasent Green drops
The best way I avoid scam calls? Not picking up numbers I don't recognize and waiting to see if they leave a message. If the message sounds sketchy, I delete the voicemail and block the number!
Same here. But it's a generational thing. Our parents (and grandparents) had landlines with no caller ID, and by habit, they answer every call. The idea of NOT answering a call is something they'd never think of.
I answer it but don't say anything, usually if it was a scam it disconnects after a few seconds. Once it was a friend of the family who's number I didn't have so when I answered without saying anything, after a few seconds he goes "this is the part where you say hello" 😂
Damn... it wasn't the Nigerian Prince!!!
Glad to hear it Kingsley! ❤
I recently had to contact the real Microsoft. The support lady had an African accent and sure enough she was in Lagos, Nigeria. I said that I wish that more people would have real jobs in Nigeria. She kind of laughed and I think she knew what I meant. She was super smart and efficient and I gave her a rave review when the call ended.
Sadly Microsoft is shutting down the centre due to the economy in Nigeria which is getting difficult to operate in. I believe they are moving to Ghana
@@BoskiM This happened a week ago.
When I was a teenager, I once got a call on the home phone that had a noticeable delay upon picking up (which you usually get when an automated system connects) and there was an Indian-accented woman on the other end. I immediately was like "Uggh, market researcher" and hung up after a few seconds before my brain caught up and I was like "Wait, she was probably from the hospital calling about my grandmother..."
I dunno if it was actually a scammer or a legit call but honestly, if you're running a business or whatever and are using automated calls or something, don't put a guy with an Indian accent on the phone.
That's part of the reason they do it. They know real companies (usually companies heavily utalized by westerners) outsource to their countries, so they are hoping their customers will be none the wiser. I try not to immediately assume someone is a scammer if they have a West African or Desi accent. Gotta pay attention to the littler things.
@@SheilaDeBonis
Usually if they call back they're probably not a scammer or it's probably important. Although sometimes they do just call back anyway even after you tell them you're not interested in what they're selling.
...my default reaction to getting phone calls from those I don't know is to assume it is a scammer because I don't have many friends :D
We caught two men in our custody.
That must have been really hard to find them lol
Being a fraud prevention security district, he should be fired and jailed.
Dude you sound like someone who could be scammed Let me set you straight he is a 17 year old black kid from Nigeria sitting in his bedroom on a laptop scamming people !!! do you understand now ?
All the best to Kingsley
New drinking game: Take a shot every time a scammer says "kindly"
edit: And I am now in the hospital recovering from alcohol poisoning.
Congratulations on winning Ben Dover!
I hope you manage to get back the FedEx package wasn't today! delivered
Yeah!!!👏👏👏👏Congrats, Ben Dover!!!
I really wonder what the method of torture was that the scammer threatened.
Glad to see Kingsley, Hugh, and Al doing well … good wins again!
Great news about Kingsley. Congrats on thecourse being such a success. I am glad you exposed another way these scamners continue to make peoples lives hell.
How can you be so lucky to win so much money?
I'm only getting spam messages that want to take my money.
Kingsley is a portrait of hope and I wish he lives his best life. Thank you both!
As a kidney transplant recipient, I can attest that it will cost more for the meds than the transplant for 10 years.
really
Maybe not, in Nigeria! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Same in Nigeria. But I'm working and can take care of it...
Tutorial to know if something is a scam: “kindly”
so happy that you gave Kinsley a chance!!!!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for the update on Kingsley. Heartwarming.
Thank you for helping Kingsley. That is awesome. Mr green, you are a hero.
God Bless you and Kingsley.
Wow you are truly inspiring, Proud to be working with such amazing people. Excellent video Ben🙂
Aww....Pleasant Green rocks! I'm Nigerian....we are not all the same! No matter the situation one is in, doesn't mean we should dupe others out of their livelihoods!!! Recover well Kingsley!
The last story was brilliant. I'm so happy for KIngsley!
Honestly, he's more polite to these scammers than me.
2:22-2:28 That took me off Guard lmao 🤣 that clip from Shawshank redemption "Help Me!" 😅😂 Huh that was a Good Laugh.
The Kingsley story is touching. Hope all is well with him. Thanks for the update.
"you really piss me off" damn I never heard you getting this mad
I wish i could give this video more than 1 like. i was not expecting the ending with Kingsley, you are not just helping people with the scam awareness videos but helping a man continue living even when he thought it was ending. Good on you Sir
This is one of the things that I love about your scambaiting work. You've turned it into a real force for positive change, and *literally* saved lives. Keep up the good work, Ben
As a member of the "People named Michael" group, we do not accept the scammer.
This is a beautiful story. I'm so happy to hear that Kingsley is on the road to recovery…That text scammer was so stupid. That would've been the easiest $200 he could ever earn (legitimately that is) but just threw it away. Some people just can't be helped.
Many congratulations to Kingsley and you Ben. There are many scam baiters out there, but very few that actually take the time and try to get the scammers to see the error of their ways and change for the better. Bravo!
"torture them" 😂
Thank you Ben for all you do not only with great work exposing these different types of scams & scammers, but even more for helping people like Kingsley. You have a true heart of gold!! 💛❤
I suspect you knew it was a scam before they asked for your address.
Well, yeah, but if Ben simply stopped there, we wouldn't have the great content to watch.
he does. usually gets the obvious ones
For sure. The phrasing just gave me a chuckle.
You are a good person. I'm pushing 70 years old, and I can unfortunately say that there are damn few good people in the world today. God bless you.
I’m so happy for Kingsley. I’ve been hoping for an update. Thank you for doing this too for him.
you're such a good human. we need more like you. bless you for all you do. and good luck to Kingsley.
You’re a wonderful man Mr Dover. ❤. Great to hear Kingsley’s happy news ❤
SO HAPPY FOR KINGSLEY, thanks for keeping us updated
Kudos Kingsley, much health and love to you and your family. 🥰
very good news!! wishing him a fast recovery and a good long life
I’m so glad to see Kingsley recovering ❤
The laugh tracks are a huge plus!
You are a good man Ben, glad Kingsley is doing well.
You are a legend sír. Fair play for making a difference to these peoples lives. hopefully you can set a few more scammers on the right path
Pleasant Green, you have a wonderful approach to this. You seem to see an honest person buried deep inside each scammer. I think you would start a working relationship with every one of them if they were willing to change even a little. I appreciate your work.
Bad grammar is always the giveaway, along with 'needful' and 'kindly'.
I have not seen or got any calls for scams in years. But I still love watching these kind of videos
I adore your approach to this difficult problem. There are a lot of ways to combat scamming, and I’m sure they all have their place, but building good will between would-be scammers and their would-be victims must surely be an important tool to change minds.
Great job here as always. Thanks for the important public service you provide by exposing these thieves ✔️
Thank you for sharing Kingsleys story. It gives so many people hope that there is good in Nigeria. I love watching your videos. Stay safe.
I don't answer any text, email about any money. I love that you are so smart.
Keep up the good work Ben. We all support and believe in you. 👍
Kingsleys story really touched me. Thankyou for sharing the Other Side of Nigeria. ❤
I’m so happy that Kingsley got the liver transplant he needed and is doing so much better and didn’t scam ppl to get and try to deceive them. Glad that he is back working and can watch his kids grow up ❤❤
but i could be wrong
04:32 "ok im anxious to see you" 😂😂😂
That was definitely a southern accent... from southern Nigeria. It is amazing that he could drive all the way to the Whitehouse since there is an ocean to cross.
There’s that Interstate Highway from Nigeria to the USA. It’s similar to the one from Hawaii to the west coast. You know the one! 😂
love how your always doing good things to help people. the world appreciates you.
Bless you... Pleasant, your a good person
So good of you. In the process of securing my devices. I'll be buying that class
How awesome is this!!! So happy for him and for you, helping him getting on the right path. ❤
Amazing video! Nigeria is a beautiful country, but it breaks my heart to see young ones fall into the trap of fraud. This should be a lesson to them: hard work pays off. No matter the difficulty, push through. Love your videos ❤
6:24 Whoa, didn't expect you to swear. That was unexpected but I feel your frustration.
_"And that's when I knew that this was a scam"_
You mean you didn't know BEFORE that point?? 🤣
Prayers and wishes for him, on a great recovery👍👍👍 awesome vid
The way you work is amazing 👏 congratulations. Turning scamers into hard workers. How clever is that.😊
I've said this before, but you, sir, are a saint.
I'm so happy that are people like you out there investigating.😂😂❤
Hello Ben - we ran into each other today at the Denver Airport on the train. I appreciate you being super friendly and will always treasure that moment. Keep up the great work!
It's so heartwarming that you actually help people! ❤ Like the guy with the kidney transplant. Love your videos! ☺️
Hello Mr. Ben, I enjoy your videos and kindly ask you to make more of them.
Thank you kindly for showing us where the scams are.
CAN. EVERY. SCAMMER. STOP. SAYING. "KINDLY." PLEASE.
🤔 🤨🤔🤨🤔🤨🤔🤨🤔🤨
I’ve seen some poor grammar in scams, but this has got to be the absolute worst! 🤣
It's often intentional, basically filters out people who are too observant to be scammed, versus those that are not. Hope you get it
"You promise?" bro sounded so sad
Love the ending!! Way to go.. keep doing great things with your platform
Love your content. 💚 You make a great show. It's a very heartwarming ending. We need more of these stories than the other unhappy endings we see all around us every day. Please keep making these.
The work you do is invaluable. Thank you
Cheers for Ben who was able to help this individual live his best life and take care of his family!
I love watching you helping those make a living by doing work with you. Giving both a positive end on both sides.
Great videos always! I got one one of these a week ago. Excellent job help some who would rather do what is right over scamming and stealing.
Loved the story at the end there. You earned another sub! Great work Pleasant Green!
