    My wife is struggling with this. Holy crap! She has trouble sleeping. Sleeps only for three or four hours. Worried about her walking saying she’s in a fog all the time. Lack of focus. Takes magnesium, anxiety meds, workouts twice a week, is overweight (SHE said that), has very small lunches, and knows she doesn’t drink enough water.
    She’s got arthritis as well. She’s tries to take melatonin to help sleep. Plus she’s allergic to quite a few meds. UGH! HELLLLLLLPPPPP!
    To help her I massage her feet EVERY NIGHT! I’ve been doing that for a LONG time plus prayer now more than ever cuz she thinks this whole thing is driving her nuts!
    Oh. In my song, Peace My Child Be Still, the part you hear: “I keep on moving forward DEALING WITH SO MUCH PAIN” is a part I wrote about her physical issues.

    " Kundalini is usually represented as a serpent coiled at the base of the spine, but women's mystery stories located it in the uterus - or the area where the uterus was, if a hysterectomy has occurred. During both puberty and menopause, a woman's kundalini is difficult to control and may cause a great number of symptoms.
    I was struck by the many similarities between menopausal symptoms and the well-known esoteric goal of "awakening of the kundalini." Though the ideas presented in this section may seem strange or difficult to comprehend, they contain powerful messages about menopause which lie at the heart of the Wise Woman approach.
    "Kundalini [is] the root [of] all spiritual experiences

    • @eagle4god373
      @eagle4god373 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kundalini comes out of hinduism and is infiltrating the church as a false holy spirit. Yes it coils itself at the base of the spine and it moves up the spine and takes peoples spirititual part of the brain over for some euphoric experience {frontal lobes; third eye} as a counter fit God.It is a lie. Witch craft! To be avoided at all costs. If you have it CAST it out in the name of JESUS. It does not belong there.

    Thank you so much!!!! I've been feeling like a crazy person, never had anxiety attacks till I hit menopause.. And I never know when they are going to hit! And there is nothing worse than waking up in the morning with my heart racing for no apparent reason. Has taken a toll on my self esteem. I'm on estrogen and progesterone therapy. I know estrogen is feel good hormone, is there a possibility progesterone can cause shakiness/anxiety? looking forward to trying some of your suggestions...

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Siobhan
      If your progesterone intake is a lot higher that oestrogen this may cause an imbalance and you could end up with low oestrogen symptoms such as anxiety. Maybe ask your doctor if the combination you are on now is the best one for your situation and symptoms. Do let me know how you get on.

      Hi Yvonne, there are several herbs that are known to help with anxiety so you could look into these to see which would be best for you: Maca, Ashwagandha or Rhodiola. I would also suggest a magnesium supplement 200mg twice a day and a vitamin B Complex 50mg once a day to help support your nervous system.
      Acupuncture can often be effective for anxiety so this is worth checking out as well.
      Dehydration can be a big factor in anxiety so remember to drink lots of plain water over and above your other drinks.

      Hi Tee
      Hopefully, the tips I mentioned will be of help. Drinking plenty of water is really important and make sure that you eat little and often as low blood sugars is a really common trigger for dizziness as well as anxiety! You could also try the herb Maca as this is recommended for anxiety and mood.

    I never suffered from panic attacks until post menopause..it’s crippling me , the attacks come on mainly during the night which keeps me up all night struggling to sleep.
    It’s effected my entire life to the point where I cant live by myself …😵‍💫 I’m terrified . It’s stopped me of my personal freedom and independence.
    Dizziness , shaky , breathing issues , etc etc I take high strength mag , anti anxiety supplements, eat well etc but nothing is helping .
    I’m about to go on bio identical hormones but I’ve read conflicting things about progesterone, in some articles it says it can help ward off anxiety attacks and in others it says it can make them worse ?! 🤷‍♀️😩 I’m confused

    • @AvogelCoUk

      Hi Tzina gia
      If your doctor has prescribed this, they should be aware of any potential side effects but may feel that it will be helpful for you. Fingers crossed!
      Acupuncture can often be really helpful for stabilising the nervous system; this often gets 'stuck' in flight or flight mode and it can take a little work to release this. Look for a practitioner that specialises in women's health and they should be well aware of this kind of scenario.

      Gentle Jules I've had those for two years. It's an awful feeling. Hormones made me crazier and antidepressants all have wicked side effects. Some women can take hormones with no problem. Maybe it's time to consider that. I hear the progesterone is the calming hormone and the estrogen is the sex hormone as it helps with thinning of the vaginal walls. They also have natural supplements like Estroven for moods. Maybe that would help. I wish you luck and take care.

    Can I take a low dose of estradiol only if I still have a uterus? I have been suffering for two years and have not found any relief. I was on Zoloft for 7 months but I stopped. I cry almost everyday with feelings of depression, especially bcuz i have issues of thin vaginal walls which I am now on estrace cream. I have nervousness in my vaginal area as if it’s nervous on its own. It’s extremely bothersome. I have lost all hope. What can I do? Help. Anyone?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mina, It is best to discuss this with your doctor, they are the only one who can decide whether estradiol would be appropriate for your symptoms, they would need to take your health history, symptoms and age into account. Did you stop your medication yourself? Some medications need to be withdrawn slowly to avoid withdrawal symptoms so, again, speak to your doctor about this, they may be able to prescribe something more appropriate for you. In the meantime you could try the Menopause Support as this may help to ease your symptoms and some women find a Sea Buckthorn Oil Capsule can help with vaginal discomfort, thinning and dryness.

    • @minao8942
      @minao8942 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      A.Vogel UK yes I stopped Zoloft on my own. It stripped me of my libido and I was a walking shell of myself. I stopped the Estrace vaginal cream bcuZ it appeared to be making me crazier. Gyno said that my vaginal walls are not that bad at all for a post meno woman. I get recurrent UTIs all the time only I have no infection. So now they put me on Ampatryptiline for bladder pain. It knocks me out. However I am now having more depression with it. I can't win. Is it menopause or a chemical imbalance? Nobody knows. I've been to almost every type of specialist you can think of and they all do their trial and errors meds on me. But nobody has helped me yet. That's my story. I pray for all women who suffer with severe menopause symptoms.

    I am peri menopause. I have awful panic attacks because of this. I need more magnesium. I take about 300 mg but feel I mite need more. How much should a women take a day?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually recommend up to 600mg daily. However, if you take too much it can cause diarrhoea so I would gently increase it over a few weeks to see if you can tolerate a higher dose. Remember to drink lots of plain water every day as dehydration can make panic attacks worse! You may also find the herb Ashwagandha or Maca can help with the panic attacks.

I am 53 and in menopause. I’m still really confused about progesterone and Oestrogen and which one does what. Just want all these symptoms to be gone!

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Angie
      Yes, it is confusing! In women oestrogen is needed not just for the regulation of the monthly cycle but also for many other areas such as mood, emotional health, heart health, joint health, mucus membrane health (such as the digestion) and also water balance in the body. So, when oestrogen starts to decrease any or all of these areas can be affected. However, even if oestrogen is falling, if it is too high in comparison to the level of progesterone it can still cause high oestrogen symptoms such as breast tenderness, food cravings, heavy/prolonged periods. So, sometimes it can be very difficult to pinpoint whether you are high or low oestrogen.

      Hi Gwen
      One of my favourite books at the moment is The Power of Three by Dale Pinnock; there's lots of simple breakfast recipes and most are for 1 so quick and easy to make :)

      Hi, yes you can email Eileen directly at eileen@bioforce.co.uk. When emailing Eileen, as well as your question, it’s also helpful if you include your age and if your periods have stopped. Please note that due to the holidays it may take Eileen a little longer to reply to your email.

      @AvogelCoUk  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Beth
      You could try our Molkosan Fruit and a probiotic, these are known to help with bloating. However, it is still important to get any bloating checked out by your doctor, especially if it has gone on longer than 2 weeks.

    Is there a blood test for menopause as i feel am going through it but am only 49 am having bad anxiety but not night sweats or anything else.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Sam
      Blood tests are not very accurate if you are getting any kind of periods still. You are well within the average age range, 45-55, so if your periods are changing and you are experiencing menopause-like symptoms it is more than likely you are on your way!
      Hopefully the tips will help with your anxiety.

    My anxiety is so debilitating and what about muscle tension from anxiety

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Beth
      Have you tried a high strength magnesium supplement as this can often help with anxiety and muscle tension. Remember to drink loads of plain water as dehydration will make both of these worse! However, if you are really struggling then it is best to see your doctor.

    what if you cannot take magnesium, I'm taken vesitrim for over active bladder. I'm not allowed take as it would cause panic attacks and heart palpitations. what can I do I'm going through the menopause for the last 3 n half years.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Linda, you could try herbs such as our AvenaCalm or Passiflora or look into acupuncture as this can be effective too. A lot of people who have an over-active bladder tend not to drink a lot of water but, unfortunately, dehydration is a big factor in anxiety!

    what are your thoughts on bioidentical hormones please?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi DC
      Bio-Identical Hormones do seem to be gaining in popularity and they are formulated to take the individual's needs into account rather than taking a standard dose of normal HRT. However, I don't think there have been any long-term studies done on safety yet as they are quite new so, if you are interested in using them, it is best to discuss all aspects with your doctor or Gynae.
