Some players thought it started at 80 but that's incorrect, they only thought that because around 81 pulls is the average amount it takes to get a character.

It's a game worth investing time into and your comments on the skins will be much welcome. Snowbreak is closest to Azure lane type of game i can think of right now when it comes to their fanservice. Last month they hit 20mil coming back from the grave. Lets go snowbreak gamers.
Duplicate copies are important because you go into the manifestation tab and increase their HP and Attack. To be truly successful you need everyday so you can earn resources to level up your girls.

Make sure to grab her 4* event weapon, its in the Realm of Illusion shop under unlimited section. Also grab her orange Logistics from there. If you don't, you won't be able to get them again until she reruns. You will need to do some of the events in there to get the currency, same as AL. Just auto clear the abyss stage every day. The orange logistics in the unlimited shop are best in slot for her. Try to get multiple copies of her purple crossbow so you can upgrade it to t5. The 4* weapons are about 22% weaker than their 5* counterparts.
I'm definitely grabbing that weapon based on all the helpful comments here! Do you know which orange Logistics are good for her in the event shop? I suppose I should just grab them all if I can.

It would take a while so make sure to do those weekly puzzles for the furniture currency.

I guess in a week or so we will start seeing some trailers or something. Considering latest characters are strong, whatever they’ll announce will be same or stronger, so it will all come down to design and play style preferences.
If you are a new player and have enough pulls to cover it, I recommend pulling characters on 50/50 banner. You will slowly get the original 5*s that way as for the weapons - 4* purples will get you through 99.5% of the content without any major issues. Pulling for weapons is only really matter for few characters, who get major buffs from them (like 5* Marian for example), or you are one of those people who wants to top every scoreboard for extra 30k silver. If you want to stay f2p with gacha - you don't have to invest much into weapons at all
Its ok to farm her weapon in the event, only go for gacha weapon when you have a spare gems or if you really like to main her but her event weapon is enough for all content.
Too many lol. I have some central games that usually take priority, but otherwise I rotate time commitment based on what's happening in each particular game. If there's not much happening in a game, I usually stick to just low effort daily stuff.
You'd actually be surprised how easy it is to maintain multiple gachas, the trick is to only do dailies unless a major content uodate comes out that actually requires play time. Beyond that you can literally do your dailies in 10 mins or less per gacha game. I'm currently playing 8 gachas but only spend at most like 2 hours a day and thats if I'm actively doing some event or farming for something and even then half of the gachas I play can be auto farmed so I can just be doing something else while my phone is farming for me. An important note is to NEVER treat a gacha as a main game cause they are not designed for that.
good to see one of our Azur lane content creators playing Snow Break nice and welcome to the community. as for tips well operatives need their signature weapons since Katya is a rerun you can farm for her 4 star event weapon on the Operation tab and then on Arms Hub also you will need her logistics squad which is basically artifacts in game you can farm them also its just near the Arms hub called Mind refinement here past event logistics can be farm but the stats is random and so is the drop you can select which logistics squad you need, for Katya you need the Eli squad with Stats Atk% and Alignment index for her. also another tip every time you summon you get a special currency which you can use in the shop Circulation tab 1. is the Reward Code and 2. the Rationing code to buy summon tickets on the circulation shop as well as upgrade materials for Characters and weapons. hope this helps you start out in the game😊

Katya is pure neuron activation for me and its probably gonna be the hardest to top in that department You generally do not need the 5 star weapons unless you want to try and top leaderboards or waifu reasons. The 4 star event weapon is the FTP option and usually is pretty good. The only one off the top of my head who REALLY NEEDS her weapon is Yao Winter Solstice and Space Cowboy.
You won't regret getting Katya. She's completely unique and she's super fun to play. She's been my main DPS since February. If you don't intend to spend money and you like the 100 banner, I would suggest also skipping the anniversary character in favour of the likelihood that Eatchel will rerun. She puts at least an extra 20% enjoyment to the game by here mere existence.
Katyas pretty good. I would say Cherno is top DPS atm. But Katya is pretty close behind. For Katyas weapon ? if shes the be your main. its worth it. But you dont sound like your going to be one to spend much. So its probably better going budget and get the event weapon. I could say you can throw some pulls into it and see if you get lucky, it will push you close to the pitty anyway. But... it most would depend if you want to do it or not. if you were to save for anniversary. You could hold off until to the end of her banner, if we get news on annerversary before it ends. Thats probably the best play.

The only reason you would go for weapons is if you love the character a lot or want to sweat in the neural simulation mode. Beyond that you can do events and story easily with the event 4 star weapons available in the shop and they are also usually tailored made for the current banner characters.
Man, so many good games...so little time to play it all...I am holding off on starting any new gachas. Because my eyes are at Azur Promillia right now. I am playing way too many gachas as is...
from numbers from the chinese bros, Katya's weapon is like between 28-35% increase in dps at high investments so totally worth it if you wanna use her as a DPS and she well delivers on that, she's still one of the best, if not the best but imo, its not worth it, there's not really content hard enough to require that lvl of min-maxing im using the free crossbow totally maxed, and i still clear everything without problems

It seems I can procure dupes from the Personal Files and not have to worry about pulling them, which is great!

Pretty lucky on my side. I got her in 10 pulls during her initial banner where 100% doesn't exists.

They were about to EOS, and the shift saved them entirely, so I wouldn't say it was a big price at all.
Katya definitely hasn't fallen off but the newer characters in my opinion are better
