Hopefully Mazda has improved the quality of its steel. They had horrible rust issues a few years back.

Eren Alkan not asking about accidents, when you slam the hood it knocks the alignment of the hood out and it eventually chips paint exposing bare metal inducing rust

On thing I noticed that the technicians does not mount any protective foams or covers to the side of the car body when installing components inside the car body. Nevertheless, JAPANESE quality is far more SUPERIOR 1000% than north American made cars......
The automated or robotics system of stamping, welding, painting and etc. is far more accurate and economical then human labour.....

yea the panels don't need to be super sturdy, all the key areas are reinforce by high strength steel. When all the pieces are welded together it will pass fmvss safety standard so don't worry.
