I managed to get 5 hopper minecarts in a line on bedrock but it was annoyingly tricky! 😂
Although I wish I'd used your way! Took me forever knocking them all over! 😂

@@StormyWolf1981 I’m impressed you did! I’d have assumed it was possible, but they like to start moving as soon as they touch so I wasn’t even sure lol

@mralddragoon yeah they moved around and were bumping back and forth, at one point I stood in between the and jumped and placed and it worked to get the last one in! I had blocks stopping them on either end that they bounced off. Was so frustrating! 😂

Correct me if I'm wrong. I seem to remember basalt generators on Bedrock being way op and lightning fast when they were first introduced, at least if they were built in the nether. I kind of miss the insane results lol

I'm not sure how they used to be, but I do feel like they are faster on Bedrock than on Java. This seems to do with a weird inconsistency that happens with game ticks in Bedrock--
sometimes it's good (lava starts normal then seems to tick faster until it's making the basalt almost immediately)
and sometimes it's bad (in the water elevator video, I noted that the number of water blocks you need to slow yourself for a quick-exit elevator varies wildly because of the ticks).
Unfortunately I don't know if that is something that has changed. Building it in the Nether is a really good idea though if you're doing something smaller than a 4-block, so good info to add there! For a full one I'm not sure how much it would matter since mining speed is then the main cap to your output.
