I believe the Alt Institute is an institute designed to creating a new or "ALTernative" era for objects. They have introduced Plague X to eradicate those who do not agree with this group or to help in their plan of a new era for objects. Alt may also connote with "Control, Alt, Delete" as they wany to control the objects, provide an alternate environment for them and finally delete them from existance which is why lots of objects have been dying or getting infected with Plague X. This far-right group of extremists may have had PowerPoint Default Square and Gravestone as one of their members and have killed Broken Tile in order for the cure to Plague X to be forever silenced. The entity who was in control of Gild Bar and Enter Key may now have chosen Brick as a new host to accommodate this creature. I hope the Final 15 can remove this group from competing their aspiration.
