O.M.G. You are the first person I've ever heard say that about audio books! I thought it was just a strange thing that I felt. I've had librarians give me such odd looks when I tell them I don't want to have reading a new book "colored " in any way by the way someone else reads it out loud. I mean seriously, the very sound/timbre of a reader's voice not to mention their choices of what to emphasize and where to pause can completely change a story. I NEVER want that done on a first read of any book. I want my own internal determination of the sounds, colors, etc. So funny that it's not just me.🙃
As an English lit major, I completely agree! I also can’t listen as intently as I can read, and reading thoroughly is most of what I do. Just never got the audio book thing. It’s a different experience from reading a book, not an experience any lesser than, but it’s not the same
@emmmma143 Yes! I almost literally "fall" into a book when I read it. I'd never be able to listen when driving because I would most likely drive right off the road or into something. I just can't seem to "surf ride" through a book, staying on top of its river of thought while staying fully aware of the outside surrounding world . If I'm reading it is a full immersion experience lol.
If you don't care for color change mid row with your striping yarn you should try is with something that maintains the same stitch count throughout. The length of each color will be constant and with your bandana your continually changing the number of stitches. not all patterns and yarns make a good marriage is what I often say. I enjoy watching your videos and seeing your creative process.
It's not easy to find worsted (4) weight yarn in Australia. Spotlight and Lincraft which are our craft supplies box stores only have a limited range. We have a greater range of DK (3) weight yarn. Its something I find very frustrating especially as I enjoy watching yourself and bag-o-day crochet as you both seem to prefer 4 weight yarn.😅

Wow, I don't know of you will ever read this, but I fractured my left wrist, by falling from the monkey bars in 3rd grade. It was fractured in 3 placed. Lol
you said you wonna make a maxi skirt .. have you seen the crochet Morticia dress the speed you crochet you have it done in 3 days (tell you know the patten then probs a day lol) would love to see you make that and i thinknit would really suit you too x
