Bravely stripped my 28IF down and followed this well presented video. Disappointed when I found video of the rebuild of throttle assembly a) missed out various bits on both dismantling and reassembly and b) assembled washers in a different order from disassembly. Took me a while to spot it!
I was so relieved when the new gasket came into the picture 😅. Nice video my friend and very very very nice to see you create another channel for such projects. Also very smart as I recently had to experience TH-cam is very unforgiving if you add slightly different content to your main channel 😮
Excelente video.
Second channel? Awesome. Looking forward to see what you fix. I would’ve never tackled that project. Way too many parts for me to lose or mess up. Anyways, good to see a post from you. Take care. Be safe and hope all is well.
Hey B, nice to see you found my second channel 🙂 Iam sure it looks way harder than it actually was. The overhauling was a 5 hour job with filming. Stay safe my friend!
Головне, щоб часу і натхнення вистачило на обидва канали. Чого власне і бажаю😁 А також 1 мільйона тих, хто підписався на канал👍 Чекаю нових цікавих відео👍
I would recommend to test every hole and jet with brake cleaner to make sure that everything is clean and nothing is clogged. Also i prefer aluminium sealing rings to prevent corrosion. But anyway, the Renault 4 is a great car and more versatile than any SUV 😄
Thanks for the tips! I love that car, especially the 'revolver stick shift'. I did a fine tuning with a colortune sparkplug afterwards. Did you know this tool?
@@misterpatinasworkshop I have such a colortune spark plug and tried it once for a two-stroke engine, but it is not usable for two-stroke engines. The oil content in the petrol falsifies the result. We only drove R4s in the family for 15 years and I have a lot of R4 diecasts on the shelf.
This is the first video of my second Channel! I hope you like it 🙂

Sorry man! I will show more details in upcoming videos! Hope I could help at least a little bit:-/

Haha, thanks man! Who am I to reuse the old gasket…😄
Yes, that’s the idea. Little how to‘s, a little more technical than my main channel.

Very nice 😄
Didn't know you are in Germany 😅
Yes! Frankfurt am Main 🙂
From the U.S. here. Is the float commonly called a swimmer in other countries?
The Float…that’s what I was searching for 😄
Yes, it’s the swimmer here
Lol well I'm calling it a swimmer from now on.
Good and profesional job

This is why i prefer carburetors to EFI because you don't need a masters degree in rocket science to fix a carburetor
Totally agree!
