Thanks for the testing, it's some really great info. Also did earth get buffed? It's hitting insanely harder than normal. I was chatting with a old LG mate that crystal and brick don't need fortify golem anymore because their power bar doesn't decrease anymore. If it did get buffed....I don't understand the reason why. I can see ST and range because it's underperforming but not overall. After the update on the game I noticed it.
I have my claw at 200 rank and I have many friends who are energy efficient but it's amazing how a lot of other players aren't example low SPS and augments. But with my friends and leagues you and them can become a force to be reckoned with 😁😁😳😳😊😊
As Water Healer I take that artifact over power anytime. Any good Water healer doesnt need power anyway. Those 7% on Dom and another 7% on Resto is making it even stronger on the shields and I see it as a 14% buff personally. Man, those other healer powers getting an even harder time for justification lol
Playing around with this in lower level content in troll gear as Quantum. For those it's about how many vit runes you can replace with might runes while still hitting a minimum threshold for power over time. Running with Claw, Rao, Cloak artifacts the buff starts to get good at a 2 might 2 vit runes setup because of your addition as a faux dps to the group. There might be similar use in a pieced together troll and dps gear loadout, but I'm not dedicated enough to go that far. More might runes the better. It works well until it doesn't, at which point it's back to 4 Vit runes and replacing Claw with Parasites harness. Devs were probably saving face when they mentioned this artifacts future synergy with planned artifacts, but when they mentioned wanting to create variance in play styles this hits that mark. That said if their intention was to create a buff/debuff/shield battle troll they need to change the scoreboard to have a category that'll showcase their contribution to a group.
I wasn't really liking the idea at first, I thought it was another useless artifact, but after you say to change your stance (not role) it made me think twice. This to me is like a (compound omega) type of artifact for it's 7 percent increase. I could actually see it now coming in handy in certain group run raids. Still 50/50 though, I guess I have to see it in use to make a definitive decision. Great break down and video as always Chill. 👍
Would you recommend this if running new elite content ? I mean two trolls one proper power troll while the other just helps with power and supercharges as well as the buffs this artifact provides . Would that make since or just switch to DPS and get an extra DPS to the group? Thanks x
Yeah we didn't kick the troll from my group only cuz we wanted to see it in action but damn many will kick yeah lol . I say two trolls one for this claw and one like a reg one you know

I kind of figured it was only valuable with certain perks. It wouldn't work well with some of the properties being negated by gear selection or mods. Lol.
Hey Obsidian, Just wondering what is the purpose of running supressor turret in the main gadgets loadout and robot sidekick in stealth? Does this accomplish something I don't know about or was this a mistake?
2:53 so keep spamming it wont make teammate power restore up faster? i should always hit it every 12 seconds? unless i want to power/trinket clip? i dont know if it is still applied today or it has been changed.
Im not familiar with gadgets powers so I can't tell if you're using 1 or 2 weapon buffs. As for me I been leveling up a hard-light toon as a troller. This is news to me because I don't troll or even use a troller powerset untill recently. Anyways, Recharge gives 20% precision, Inspiration gives 33% they both stack making it 53%. Venom gives 54% if that's how its supposed to be then you can essentially have 107% precision buff while in troll stance of course. I'm going with Venom + Claw. Claw gives 7% to might, dominance, restoration and I think Vitalization. Having said that, I can either put AI for more precision, Solar for the 5% might or I can use Gemini or Philosopher's Stone for that 3% stats buff. I feel hard-light can benefit most from this especially solo.
Have it at 160 and their is more than one way to use it. DPS in troll role is one, Troll full might rest in dom is another (back up troll) focus on buffs, stuns, dps, and shields to help group.. I was surprised to see that it did decent with full vit as main power troll with four buffs. I still need to run it in new elites but it showed promise
It comes down to the difference between "viable" and "Actually Useful". Troll gear with full might spec and the rest in dom will not be helpful, the increase in vit will be inconsequential and the dom would only make the shields slightly stronger for pickups, it would essentially be a wasted role as the main power troll will be cycling through the 3 debuffs to maintain the normal meta rotation with parasite proc. There will be the groups that can support it with full troll spec with the claw and just rely on POT but it will entirely depend on the power and group makeup and shouldn't be used in a LFG pug situation.
It really is a numbers game. If the 7% might buff with the rest of the team is equal to or greater than the difference between a full might troll and a dps loadout than it will be beneficial as it also provides buffs for dom and and resto.
It seems like you are over valuing might and under valuing a second or third set of group shields and stuns. I have been in elite raids where the shields were needed to keep the group alive. Especially if you consider that some tanks and healers do not have 8 man shields. If you are a dps than using the shields would be worthless. In my opinion a backup troll would be helpful if the group needs help with survivability.
Daniel Pelak if your group requires 2 power trolls worth of supercharges then it’s already a fail group or they are drastically undergeared. The controller shields are the weakest in the game, at that point the group would be a lot better off with 2 heals instead of 2 trolls
I agree that two healers would be better than two trolls but sometimes you have to run with what you have. A power troll and a battle troll have worked to get through elite content. In my opinion survivability trumps dps because you can’t dps when you are dead. There is always more than one way to skin a cat and it has worked. Hi

If you want to use it as a solo power controller that is the only way, you’d spec 235 into vit to max your pot for the group because really your power pool isn’t doing you much good.
Won't have any impact on tanking because the buff only applies when you use a group power heal. If you want a 3rd artifact for rage tank I would suggest the Tetrahendron of Ugrund or the Cog which would have DOM too. They are both 5% health and you'd buff either the might or prec of the group depending on what you wanted. I ran the Tetra when I was a rage tank to buff the group.
There just not enough aoe damage required for the current episode to benefit from this. 1 might dps easily enough at the moment for add damage, anything else is just slowing it down currently. Prec based buff troll would make more sense right now.
Anyone watching this like me curious saving you time. This artifact makes it to where none of your abilities naturally power heal. Don't waste your mats leveling it up if you want big powerheal numbers at the end of the run
this is true, however power heals are not as required in the game now, there are plenty of options available to players to regen their own power and precision players dominate the dps side which hardly use any power. The buffs that claw provides are much more valuable
I’ve been hybrid trolling since I got the artifacts in place to do so plus I’m prec but I use my troll gear instead of dps gear just so I can give the power back in return but this artifacts right here got me like 🤔
To be honest, like for me, i only see 1 conclusion from this vid. Blinded by greed, focused only on money, game devs stoped to understand what means RPG and twisted game so much that you can do almost the same damage in troll role. But well, as long as pepole paying for experience to charge new flavor of the month artifact, devs wont care about such small detail as make roles do what they was designed for.
Was in a raid the other day me and 4 friends two of us healed and the troll had this on and not 160 it was 80. The madness of it all lol we got threw it only Becuase we pushed on threw
yea I would never recommend any solo troll use this unless they know the group members and that they won't need much power. I only see this artifact working when you still have a proper power troll.

OP is over-powered yes. OP gear are always higher CR than the gear from its same episode.
