I was a new player during BfA and I gleefully did the allied race grind for every race. It never felt tedious to me, I guess cause the idea of reps was still new to me and because I loved just running around the zones so much that doing world quests was super enjoyable. I also still loved leveling characters because I wasn't entirely burnt out from having done it 2+ dozen times.
i been here since Late Vanilla and i didnt mind the Allied Race grinds either. the leveling journey was a grind that at the time i werent up for doing however... since i was trying to get done as much BFA stuff DURING the expansion.
I liked the allied race stuff because it felt like a true reward. I was like one of 60 dark iron forge dwarfs and damn that felt good. People were saying good job and checking out my gear set, and I've never had that experience otherwise lol
The Visions and Corrupted Gear were some nice Additions in my opinion. It gave you some solo content and challenge to achieve. I played a Blood DK at that time and the last two Raid bosses, where the best loot dropped were some of the easiest ones in a while.
There is a grind for a cooking recipe in Nazjatar called Unagi Skewer. It drops from a specific daily quest. That quest is only available when you pick a specific bodyguard. Then after selecting the bodyguard you have to fly over to the location of the daily quest and check to see if the recipe is part of the reward or not. Its another case of double-RNG as the daily quest isn't available every day, and even if the quest is available its a very low chance to have the recipe as part of the rewards. Took me 4 months to get it.
Ooo that's just annoying. The worst thing is that blizzard would probably count that as "options" or "meaningful choices" because you have to pick a bodyguard and then completely ignore how annoying things like the double RNG is.
the truth is that BFA was the last expansion I played throughout the entirety of the xpac. After that I just played through the new expansion to the max lvl and then maybe some catching up before the next expansion hit
I did all of these grinds and I got mollie but the dungeon mounts I was never lucky to get. I did get the gmod mount from battle of dazar'alor. Benthic gear was so temporary it felt silly. And I actually liked islands except it was required to use them to upgrade your azeroth necklace
My buddy wanted tombstalker and we were near the end of the xpac when not only did the pug tank get it to drop but I also got it at the same time but my buddy never got it despite running it more than me lmao
Ive enjoyed this channel for so long I forgot hes just not that great at the game and plays mostly for collecting 😅. Every once in a while he mentions something as bad, or hard, that was a complete cake walk.
3ven more annoying since "hey, sorry you jjst forgot how to fly"/"there are completely invisible forces that make it "difficult" to fly in every new area... somehow. Blizzard loved to hold flying hostage for no other reason than to pretend taking it away made "content"
Think another fun grind to mention is the Azeroth's Champion title, though far from necessary... Requiring you to get gladiator ranking in pvp, AND completing the Azshara mythic mode, before the release of the next expansion is a feat that very few could actually achieve. Not to mention all the other lesser grinds that were required.
the allied races havent been that bad of a grind, you could get 4 of them with legion, and if you have played legion you would already had the reputation,
I remember looting Sharkbait. I was blissfully unaware of its rarity and was actually pissed that it had dropped from a +something instead of a whatever I was hoping for. I distinctly remember thinking: "I don't need another damn mount, I can already fly about anyway." I still dislike the mount and never use it.

Intro is missing :(
Directly to the good stuff then, heh.
This probably makes it easier to edit into Supercuts later.
In this video we will be talking about the worst grinds of BFA...
*Ahem.* _Dune_-Gorger. Doooon Gorger. No "dungeon" involved. This has been your weekly pedant PSA.
I liked horrific visions. I just though they were fun.

Meanwhile as a demon hunter 2in3 pieces had my preferred asserite trait
For me personally I put The Cryptkeeper title on here. I think it took me like 5-6 hours straight but man was that mind numbing
My buddy wanted tombstalker and we were near the end of the xpac when not only did the pug tank get it to drop but I also got it at the same time but my buddy never got it despite running it more than me lmao
i had nightmares about the visions

I quit wow during BfA and this video really reminds me of why I did it.
i quit during shadowlands and then moved to ascension and turtle wow
Still farming the underrot mount.
No pathfinder grind? I spent months working to get flying in bfa zones even in shadowlands
3ven more annoying since "hey, sorry you jjst forgot how to fly"/"there are completely invisible forces that make it "difficult" to fly in every new area... somehow.
Blizzard loved to hold flying hostage for no other reason than to pretend taking it away made "content"
if any expansion i am not looking forward to revisiting other than Shadowlands, it's BFA.

Ah, a condensed list. Only 10.

Mega Mogul MK2 is not a dungeon drop mount. Its a crafting mount
the allied races havent been that bad of a grind,
you could get 4 of them with legion, and if you have played legion you would already had the reputation,
Phenomenal Cosmic Power?
And THAT is why BFA was a bad time for the most part, outside of the very last season.
no, corruptions sucked too
@ they did, but towards the last few weeks of the expansion it was finally fun cause they cut the grind down in half

shadowlands > BFA don't @ me
DH with full gushing, mythic flappers, and mythic wheel, with your essences... absolutely the most fun in pvp ever.
I got Mollie on my second attempt. I didn’t even realize that it had such a low drop rate at the time.
