Saya banyak merawat para lansia yg sakit hingga akhir hayatnya, ironisnya saat ayah sendiri meninggal saya bahkan tak sempat menemui dan mengucapkan selamat jalan, lagu ini benar-benar mewakili perasaan saya saat itu yg ingin berbakti merawat beliau di penghujung usianya, tapi Allah SWT berkehendak lain, ayah meninggal karena lakalantas dan meninggal di tempat, setidaknya saya yakin sudah membuat beliau bangga dengan memenuhi semua harapannya untuk bisa menyaksikan saya menjadi PNS, menikah dan memberinya cucu, 2 minggu setelah kepergian beliau anak pertama saya lahir, such a bittersweet moment, saya akan selalu mendoakan Bapak 😢🥲❤❤❤

I’ve never heard this song before but it caused me to be a blubbering mess. I lost my mom 12 years ago and I remember being at her bed side and her telling how scared she was. I had to be strong for her after all of the years of her being strong for me. I don’t know what the original sounds like but the pain and love in your voice makes these words so relatable for anyone that’s had to watch someone they love face death. Heartbreakingly beautiful!!!

RIP to your Mother. I lost mine about a year ago. She couldn't speak (Ventalator), but she was terrified. Death wasn't even supposed to be on the table, she had just turned 60. After a few month in the hospital, the doctors started taking me to the side and basically saying "Your Mom is going to die. You have to decide when." It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but I had to keep myself completely together, and walk back back into the room and look my Mother right in the eye and tell her "Everything is going to be OK Mommy. This is only temporary." I sat with her awhile, excused myself to use the rest room and as soon as I was out of my Moms sight, I basically completely broke down, fell down, and threw up all over the hallway. It was weird.
