When people buy a Tesla they often ask if the car was made in United States or China because chinese made teslas have far superior quality than US made. Its quite rematkable actually.
China was known for crappy products but because they have learned from the West by opening their market for Western companies they can compete with them now.
India can reach that level too in a decade or two if they make the same policy changes that China did.
