All these new inks and text are nothing compared to having to make your inks up from scratch and we didn't have flash dry we used to do 100mtr tables of aprons and t towels each colour was 5 prints apart from each other with screens over lapping both prints on ether side of the 1 your on with a forward and back motion on the squeegee by hand with much bigger steel screens with handles on both sides and about a ltr of ink in screens not just blobs like all these so called printers do these days
Hats off to you for the real screen printing you did. I'm afraid that even the plastisol inks I showed in the video are slowly being replaced with digital inks. The world is changing fast. All the best to you.
🙂The machine is called the "i-image". It's amazing technology; we send the design to a computer connected to the i-image, and through special software, we send the colour-separated design to the i-image. We used to print on films and then have to keep boxes and boxes of old films; now, if a customer re-orders, we just resend the design to the i-image and print the design right on the coated screen.
