Your sample interaction with the client is nothing like how it happens in real life. Most clients aren't savvy enough to rotate a jpeg, much less provide color swatches. 😂

Second… Hiding logo elements with another elements by exploiting the white fill instead of doing proper bool operations is far from professional.
Your client's logo won't always be used on a white background.

I use both of them,
and from my experience i found that affinity replace illustrator in 95% of the times. but there is some pro tools that only heavy users need, that you will not found in affinity at least yet. and i am positive that they will add a lot in the future updates. (plus, i hate the subscribtion system in adobe creative cloud). and for the text to speech i am using the google product.
