      It's a world record run, not a field demo. It's intended to demonstrate theoretical maximum throughput if you're able to keep the machine running as much as possible for 12 hours straight, not to be an accurate representation of real world conditions. World record runs for anything are always prepped for maximum efficiency.

      That’s the point of trying to break a record, it doesn’t have to be practical the team is simply looking at how to keep the corn head constantly going efficiently , if you think what they did is unfair then that’s like saying the hotdog eating record is not justified because they are cold and not right off the grill or out of a boiling pot of water , or watermelon eating champion had them pre cut to consume the fruit the fastest possible he or she should have picked it off the ground cut it open and then jammed it down his or her suck hole .

      Claas changed to a yellow design for their combines a few years back, but the tractors are still green. New Holland does a similar thing using blue for tractors but yellow for combines. I'm not a big fan of this new trend. Pick a color and stick with it. lol

    • @LMDProductionsOfficial
      @LMDProductionsOfficial ปีที่แล้ว

      When Claas brought their combines to the U.S. they used Caterpillar engines and were sold under a Caterpillar-Claas partnership, hence the gold and black livery. In my opinion is the best in corn , high moisture corn and soybean.

      So what is it, you've actually seen them sat at the side of the road broken down or have heard they have been sat at the side of the road. How do you know the driver wast on a break or the combine was parked up due to not being able to work due to conditions. My advise is that if you don't have hard facts don't make speculations. My own observations is that farmers have differing opinions of equipment depending on the season. When things aren't going well in the middle of harvest the combine is the biggest piece of junk going, when harvest is finished and all is well again the combine and dealer are back being the biggest asset, so I rarely pay any attention especially to second hand info.
