I don't really have any specific tips for being nervous except you have to try to visualize your success, tell yourself, "I've got this" and you most likely will. And remember, the best part about vball is it is a forgiving sport. You can shank a pass or hit out of bounds, and guess what - on the very next serve, you get the chance to be awesome! Even in the pros (I watch mostly AVP), the team that can shake off the mistakes usually wins (in my opinion). Get out there and have fun playing the best sport ever!!! ☺
Back in the day, interlocking your fingers was the way it was taught (20+ years ago). Sure, sports and techniques 'evolve,' but I'm not questioning a 3-time gold medalist. If she says it's fine, then just pick what platform works for you. Change it if it doesn't. There's a lot more to passing than platform anyway. Plus, I swear April Ross interlocks her fingers. I've seen it in a few photos.
What about people who have big shoulders. Not being cocky but my arms are too big to make my elbows touch, I believe this makes a difference because I am not the best passer
I'm a subscriber to the channel (youtube), congratulations on the excellent material. I am a former university professor teaching sports training and volleyball. Former fitness coach of national league teams. Today, I have a channel that talks about non-profit volleyball and would like permission to use parts of your videos in around 10 to 30 seconds. when using it I will quote the source, indicate the channel and put the link in the description. Thank you await return.
Ok, i caught the ball on my good solid platform nicely. Now where do i direct the ball back to? Or just leave it in the middle hoping someone will come up catch and do whatever they want with it? I didnt really understand the purpose of it.
Fist hand vs. flat hands is a matter of what’s easiest for you. If flat hands makes it harder for you to pass, then use fist hands,But if it doesn’t, use flat hands.
Not the best way to hold hands. Even she said “ keep thumbs parallel “ Her wasn’t. And the interlacing finger definitely is not considered as a used technique. The video is great anyway!
2012 ?? This video feels like 2002

good tips. especially that your platform is more parallel to the floor when you're closer to your target.
She’s a gold medalist and said lock your fingers to pass? No.
Megan Marie Fr.
she didn't say that's how you do it she said some people do it that way. and yeah I thought the same thing too

Sweetie Marigold There is no such thing as the best volleyball player. But if you practice and practice, you’ll be great.

Is it supposed to hurt in the forarms?
No pain, no gain ;)
Vicky E. I tell my girls that those red forearms are a badge of volleyball courage.
You'll get used to the pain. Train every day.
Playing Volleyball twice a week for 3 Weeks now. Don‘t even notice the pain/there‘s just no pain
What about people who have big shoulders. Not being cocky but my arms are too big to make my elbows touch, I believe this makes a difference because I am not the best passer
R Toke your elbows don’t have to touch at all! You just have to have a straight platform... my elbows don’t touch and I can pass fine x
nice video

Hello excuse me madam how to float server faster in A volleyball plz upload A video
Lock your fingers??
IAM from 2021
Ok I want to know if fist or flat hands is the proper way
most coaches recommend flat hands, and that's what most people do
Flat hands stops your platform from breaking apart when passing
Fist hand vs. flat hands is a matter of what’s easiest for you. If flat hands makes it harder for you to pass, then use fist hands,But if it doesn’t, use flat hands.
nice
Nooby libero gang rise up
