'no original assets' you are forgetting they already have 3 heroes they made from scratch and how they reworked(in varying degrees) the majority of the og heroes. They don't really have to compete with any other moba, and if they are it's only with Smite. In terms of combat it's a very different, skillshots and the verticality of the map. Its performing well enough, here's to hoping Gamescon will blast it's popularity. Also hope the vision beyond 1.0 will be clear
They reworked things but i haven't spoke to a paragon player who says its better now. I really want it to succeed because I think it's a lot of fun, it just is no where near perfect or as good as smite in it's current state
@@JustPlatBroParagon is maybe my favorite game ever. Predecessor is really close to it, feels faster than Paragon for sure… I played Smite since paragon shut down, but been playing pred since the official launch. I really think they should make the map way bigger and bring back the running system from the original paragon release, then just focus on making a bunch of heroes.
I played original Paragon and loving Predecessor now. I have not played Smite nor LOL so cannot compare. I do like the great graphics and really enjoy the team play aspect, as it can be really rewarding. It is the competitive aspect I like about it. I have not had an issue with game length, as I feel it gives time to plan or try and counter the other team. I am not sure I would like a mad race to snowball the other team, and like the fact you can make a come back. the longer respawn times can help this, so you feel you still have a chance most games and it will punish the overconfident team. I hope it takes off and keeps improving. Some of my thoughts anyway. Maybe I am just too patient :)
patience is a virtue my friend - I think it's great too just coming from other MOBAs it just feels so so slow, mainly at the start. In the latest patch notes they have mention they are increasing the minion speed as the game progresses which will further snowball the game after 15 minutes which I think the game really doesn't need ha. Thanks for watching dude
The game lacks focus. We saw it a year back when their "road maps" had too many deliverables that either couldn't be delivered, or were not relevant to the game at the time. We still love it, but we don't play as much as we used to. Let's hope it can stay alive.
Different take. I haven't played Smite or League and probably won't. I don't find the art style on them appealing, I don't find the top down view of League appealing and I don't even know if that exists on console. I'm on PS5, absolutely loving Pred, just like I loved Paragon. I'm sure there's 100 impressive features the other games have but League is 15 years old, I'm not about start playing in Year 15 of a game. Also, I've played plenty of Predecessor games where we've crushed the opponent inside 20 minutes. I'd say my average is around the 30-35 though.
They're used to be a game called Genesis which was a top down MOBA like league on console which sadly was taken offline before I was able to play it ha. I honestly love both top down and over the shoulder mobas. I never played paragon and it's a real shame they cancelled it since all my friends have nothing but praise for it. I am loving Pred too, I just do think it could be better. thanks for sharing brah
@@JustPlatBro It's honestly the exact same game but the items used to be cards. If you'd have shown me a video of it, I wouldn't know the difference. Even the "Minions Spawning" voice is the same.
Immersion is a huge advantage 😎. It just looks great. Back in the old Paragon Days a match lasts even a bit longer
yeah I agree man - it is absolutely stunning

*plays less* *also wants it to be alive*
i 100% feel exactly the same as you. I love it, i just want it to be better ha
i mean if i wasn't happy with a game I wouldn't play it more in the hopes that it get's fixed, that's just cray cray

@@TheDandonianit’s the same as paragons later patches but I do still miss the original paragon, with the big ass map and the running system.
