I use oils in roller balls for my toddler DAILY and have since he was 6 months old. He's only been sick 2 times in almost two years and his symptoms have been very short lived. I give complete credit to my oils. LOVED the safety tip on using oil and not water to flush the eye. So good to know. Hope I don't have to do this though.
Peppermint is one of my favorite oils. I used it in the diffuser. (Allergy related) Loved it in my coffee. (I guess for now that was my favorite) I rubbed it on my arches as an anti-inflammatory. (a need) For safety, (As a newbie, lol) on the tops of my oils, above and or below the dot label. I use the doTERRA code in this manner: If it can be used all three ways, I put 3/. Then I place an N, S, or D. It might look like this. 3/N. Depending on the individual oils. That way until I have them all memorized..., I am not continually having to look them up. I can just jump right in. lol. I enjoyed the safety video. Thank you. Debbie Yglesias
Dr. David Cahill's presentation was most enlightening regarding using the oils with children especially treatment for getting oil in your eyes. Never use water only use a carrier oil or olive oil to help with this situation.
This information is a good reminder on the safety of oils especially the one about staying out of the sun when using citrus oils. Using FCO to wash oils out of eyes was also good to know. Thank you.
I was wondering why it was said not to go out in direct sunlight with citrus oils on now I know. I would never have thought to use oil to flush my eye with if I accidently got some peppermint or other oils in my eye. Very interesting.
Hi Jacqueline! We don't have this specific presentation in written form, but we do have some helpful ebooks with similar information! You can find those here: www.doterra.com/US/en/ebooks
Thank you for the safety tips regarding eyes, ears, or other sensitive area. I would of went straight to the faucet to flush my eyes and ears. If oil gets into my eyes, ears, or other sensitive area I know to use one of the following...olive oil, vegetable oil or DoTerra fractionated coconut oil. Always review each DoTerra product before using to ensure the proper dilution of specific oil and ways it may be used.
