      It sad how he cut the whole entire interview. I spilled all my hardships and they only used a single line.

      @@roseayala6693 I am sorry to hear that. Do understand it is a news segment though, so only so much allotted time, as well as the main topic of this story was the new bus line. But do know that people care and again am proud of you for working so hard. Make sure to spend less, save more, as difficult as it may be and I hope you are able to pull yourself out of your situation... but at the same time look to the good, that you are mobile, living, able to work, have a place to sleep, etc. I pray for the very best for you!

      It makes getting to Disney VERY easy for me for only $2! Thanks Ron DeSantis for breaking up the Reedy Creek syndicate! The 111 only went to sea world, so this 311 isn’t as bad as this propaganda makes it. 😂

    I love Lynx and feel people need to support it more. So many people complain there isn't a mass transit system here... but there is and they don't utilize it. I am glad I don't live in a city with train tracks all cutting through buildings... that's not Orlando. But there is nothing stopping you from taking Lynx even just for certain things. I will take the Lynx from Casselberry to the airport for just $2... that is amazing.

      But when you have hourly buses that get stuck in traffic, then that's not going to convince people to leave their cars and use public transit. People just want to get to where they want to go as quickly as possible. If driving is the fastest option, people will drive their cars, and no one would voluntarily take the bus if they can afford to drive. And when your public transit is only being used by the poor and the desperate, it's already doomed to fail. What we need to do is to push for better quality public transit as well as transit-oriented development. That way ridership will skyrocket and it will alleviate traffic.

    I'm really glad they did this report. For those that didn't know the 311 isn't a new route it's a replacement of the 111 which ran between SeaWorld and OIA with a 60 minute frequency. From 5:30-11:15. With last trips starting at about 10:30 7 days a week so what occured here while the service runs more often there is a bit of a subtle service cut of the last bus. Every minute matters.

    As a tourist visiting next week, I only heard about this bus line from the Disney subreddit. Definitely needs a lot of time for this information to spread to the general public. Will definitely try this out next week.

      Wait until tourists find out they can pay $2 per person instead of $16 per person with Mears.

    When I visit Orlando, I usually stay along I-Drive, and Lynx is what I use to get to and from the Airport and the Brightline Station. The Lynx 311 and even the Lynx 42 are lifelines. I get a lot of anxiety from driving, so having public transit options when I visit Orlando is just amazing! Thank you!

    During this interview i explained to him what im going through, being a caregiver to a blind person, having to make ends meet every week and still trying to survive for both of us. Paolie said the 111 use to pass her HOUSE not extended stay. He asked me how i was doing, i said im trying to hold up, im taking care of someone who lost their vision 2 yearsago and ive been doin it on my own for those two. Putting his needs before mine how dare he make it seem like I was just worried about the bus when i was worried about how im gonna make it now. How if i have to pay 20 dollars a day on uber and in a hotel, how the hell am i gonna hold up

      Gross behavior from this guy. I'd like to also mention this guy also didn't do his due diligence, he had a mostly false narrative he was trying to prove and you reinforced it for him, so he used you. Sorry :( But I am proud of you and I hope things get easier for you soon, times are tough for us all right now and it seems especially rough for you. Keep it together, things will get better! Take care.

    Thanks for posting this video. I'm here because I'm planning our arrival next month and wanted a safe and inexpensive way to get to I-Drive as our International flight arrives at 9:30 pm. Please don't be quick to discredit a "new" service. I now have a safe and inexpensive option and others will catch on too.

    Not a good idea if you are a tourist. I always stay in Disney Springs which means I would have to walk from the DS transport center and all the way round to my hotel. Not good.

  • @CoryValpo
    @CoryValpo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    If you have any luggage more than a backpack, once you get to Disney Springs, you can't transfer to a free WDW resort bus with it. So you'll be Ubering to your resort anyway.

      @@CoryValpo yes, I flew Spirit and used a backpack, blended right into the resort and park crowd. But not everyone can do that. I brought all athletic clothing, light and takes up no room and great for hot Florida weather!

    Replaced Disney’s magical express

    • @turbinatearc7478
      @turbinatearc7478 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m hopeful for an official Disney’s Magical Express replacement soon, and to go along with it….maybe even a new airline (we’re probably talking “DisneyAir”?). I’m hopeful that the new airport shuttle service, while probably not a complementary service like Magical Express was (they’ve got to make money), will also include complementary resort luggage delivery and resort airline check-in (Bags, Inc. was their vendor at the time, but they filed for bankruptcy after Biden came in; Disney is probably gonna have to do both luggage delivery and resort airline check-in on their own, as well as their own ground carrier services too), just like Magical Express offered.
      As for “DisneyAir”, its central hub will be at MCO and there will be another hub at LAX, and will compete with the low-cost carriers, including Southwest, JetBlue, Frontier and Spirit. I’m pretty sure the new airline’s fleet will consist of Boeings, just like Southwest, because Boeing is an American company.
      Only time will tell if these things will come true.

      Exactly! Disney is $180 a day, this transportation savings makes it possible for many poor people with families!
