I'd love to see you try to get to universal from Disney Springs. I'd also like to see what's at each of the 6 stops along the way. Really interesting to see where I can go for $2 from Disney. Love your videos Demi 😊😊😊
As a bus driver, I have to say that it isn't that uncommon for us to take advantage of quick pit stops. Routes can be long and a there are often no relief areas at the end of a line. It like that this is an option for some travelers. Perhaps Disney would consider putting a few buses out to handle luggage and assist visitors in getting to their resorts, if demand shows it would be prudent. Good video, Demi! Thank you!
This looks like an adventure! I think if I were younger ( currently in my 50’s) I’d give it a try. I’m just slowing down and don’t think I could sit on a bus with even a carry on in the heat for an hour. But this was a fantastic and thorough video and I’d rewatch it - it’s almost like a park ride / attraction itself the way you’ve presented it!😆😁🙌
I’m a public transportation girl from Boston, and yeah, the T has its issues but I have never seen a driver stop in the middle of a trip for a break. I’ve only seen that at the end of a route before the next departure. Not sure I would take it to Disney but I would be curious about universal because that could be a good option sometime.
Thanks for this info. Amazing video. Yeah, it's common for bus drivers to take a quick break especially bathroom breaks. I am here in Miami, and it happens here all the time but some will tell you they are going to restroom. I am thinking of taking the Brightline from Miami to Orlando and looking at a cheap way to get to Disney Springs. $2 ain't bad and need to go when it's NOT rush hour.
I've been on the cast member shuttle a few times where the drived stepped off to use the bathroom, LOL. I didn't know Lynx offered $2 service to Disney, that's pretty neat. I thought after the 50 directions getting from Terminal C to the bus you were going to say, "It's just that easy!"
I come from a small city and drivers do take breaks especially if they are ahead of schedule otherwise people might miss their bus if they come too early!
Are breaks for bus drivers in New York that uncommon? In Florida, there are designated stops along a bus drivers route that can be used for a bathroom break and/or take their 15min break. The drivers don’t necessarily have to inform the passengers, as long as dispatch/headquarters are notified and passengers are able to make the scheduled route timeframe.
I can't speak to NYC too much (only been twice) but in Seattle and LA when I've used the bus it seems like they work the breaks into the schedule. So they basically do their entire route and then before doing another one they turn off the light and the bus just sits there. Sometimes the drivers leave so my guess is that is their break.
In Omaha Nebraska I have seen this, if the bus driver stops to take a break you all stop to take a break🙄. I was interested in trying the bus but thanks to your great video I will NOT be doing that! My wife would have a hissy fit😂!!! I love to save some money but that takes too long and to much effort (and if the wife is not happy I will not be happy)!!! We will stick with Mears or maybe even try Uber/lyft from the airport. Thanks for the great video! 👍👍
Hey Demi! Based on what I see here, no, I would not use this service. There are too many stops between the airport and the Disney hotels for my liking. Plus, if I would have the experience like you did, I would have trust issues if the driver would even return to the bus.🤣 I know Uber/Lyft prices can fluctuate and get on the high side, but I would much rather pay a higher price knowing I will get to my hotel faster. Thank you so much for showing us this because it’s great to know what’s all available for transportation…and this may even be somebody’s preferred method to get to Disney World.
Money saving wise, can't fault that. Downside, not really ideal if you're travelling with heavy luggage. And too much planning around it too. Not really for me. I think I'll stick with Mears Connect, but thanks for the video
5:20 i've stayed in disney springs hotels, a number of times. i don't remember any of them having a bus stop at springs, because you can just walk over the pedestrian bridge and into security by eet and earl.
This is great for singles or couples with an over night bag. Not ideal for anyone traveling with small children who require a booster for the plane and larger luggage. Too much stuff to physically manage.
The bus was very convenient but as I usually arrive in the evening I didnt feel save on the bus especially as youngish looking women travelling alone (as it is so uncommon in the US to take the bus). But that just might be me.
He just walked off like see ya 😂
Yup 🤣
Saratoga is my home resort so I would definitely try it when I stay there!
I hope it works out!

Well I tried to put it in the video, but it’s hard to see on the bus and then it was confusing after the bathroom stop.

That’s so interesting about the breaks! I love learning about the differences in cities. Thank you so much!
I usually travel with a duffle. So I would give this a try!
Nice! I hope it works out!

I’m so glad you enjoyed! 😊
Thank you for sharing this!!! I love that you show so much detail in your videos.
So glad you enjoyed! Always expect details in my videos!
The no AC is tough, but it may be handy to avoid surge ride app charges if i leave early morning or late at night.
Absolutely!
Thank you for this! very useful!
Happy to help!
Thanks for this video. It was the EXACT information and visual that I needed to make my decision!
Glad it was helpful!
Please do a video for getting to Universal 🙂

I definitely want to do a universal version of this!
I would love to see the bus route from MCO to universal please
Thanks!
Here in upstate NY, bus drivers often stop during a trip for bathroom breaks. It's quite common.
Never heard that. So interesting the differences!
Haha I spy an Epic Universe resort at 3:35 👀
Yay! So glad you caught it!!

Absolutely! Like I said it’s for some people!
Does it run all day? How often does it run?
About every 30 minutes. 5am - 10pm

Hahaha! It is very easy! But I was trying to be as detailed as possible. Just follow the path and take the terminal link.
Tjank you for this video!! It was very helpful and informative. Another way you save money, while going to Disney!!!!
So glad I was able to help!
Looks like a decent option for the right type of traveller aka a single, light packer! Don’t think I’d subject kids to it though…
Definitely not for everyone!
I grew up in NYC as well and never seen a driver do that! 😅😅😅
I couldn’t even imagine what people who are trying to get to work would do to a bus driver that gets off mid route!
I come from a small city and drivers do take breaks especially if they are ahead of schedule otherwise people might miss their bus if they come too early!

I mean…I don’t even think I’d use it after a Price club shop. Would my 4 pound can of black Lindsay olives and 48 pack of eggo waffles be safe??
@@PeterSallada it’s for biosphere 3 😉
@@PeterSallada though you should probably feed him marble rye instead

Wouldn’t work for us peeps in the U.K. too much luggage 😂
We did mears to POFQ and I was very well priced and only took 40 mins 👍
That’s awesome!
Would you ride the $2 bus to Disney?
Yes...for the story lol
I would do that.
Yes! Lyft is so expensive and I feel like Mears would take too long. Love this option!
Yes, but only when I take the red eye which would arrive before 7 am to avoid sweltering as mentioned in the video. Thank for the tips!
This is great for singles or couples with an over night bag. Not ideal for anyone traveling with small children who require a booster for the plane and larger luggage. Too much stuff to physically manage.
Yes would be a lot to schlep
The driver could have least make an announcement he was going on break..especially if someone is not familiar with this process
Yes! That’s why I was like so confused! I legit thought he abandoned us 😂
It's great its an option! But I think I'll pass.
It’s not for everyone!
They should put Disney buses out of business

I totally get it as a woman solo traveler. You gotta do what makes you feel safe!
