BTW! Our SHINDONG is the MV director for Hanryang! Universe Cowards was actually started from the show Knowing Brothers. This is their 3rd song already (check out the first two also!) All MVs were directed by Shindong( because Heechul likes how quick he films them 😂 jk) also production for all their songs and MVs can be watched in Knowing brothers episodes and special episodes here on yt just in case you want to see the behind the scenes
Heechul was supposed to be in the SM Rock Group TRAX with Jungmo. He got in a fight with the vocal coach since he wanted to sing rock all the time. SM begged for his return but was "demoted" to Super Junior as a punishment. He may have thanked his face for getting himself a chance to audition, but he always showed potential with his great voice and great memory for learning choreographies. His small voice crack in the early days was more because he was over worked. He was an actor and variety show figure as well as an Idol. He barely had time to practice let alone sleep. He used to have so many lines, yet was forced to go silent because the fans were enraged because of his mistake. I get so mad when i think about how unfair they were to judge him for not being perfect. the backlash is what ended pushing him to the back of the group, not because he wasn't talented. He got only 4 seconds in Sorry Sorry, yet still did his best bring in new fans and promoting as a Super Junior every where he went.
His voice is still so beautiful and I melt every time he breathes. I am so thankful for his venture into M&D I wouldnt be able to survive without those 2 mini album to remind me how much i love his voice. Btw you should totally listen to both of them completely. He is spectacular.

The guy who was sing rapping is actually a rock vocalist on the same show as heechul. He’s in a legendary Korean band called Buzz his name is mine kyung hoon
Min Kyung Hoon is the original flower boy visual of Korea. Also his band Buzz is legendary and became immortal with only three years of activity.
Yes! Heechul! Heechul was my original bias in Suju and he's still fighting for the top spot. M&D (Heechul & Jungmo) are one of my all time favourite duos. Heechul wrote the lyrics for all their songs and Jungmo did the music. They have a lot of great songs. In Charm Of Life both Heechul and Shindong give their haters a huge serve. The two guys looking bemused are Nucksal and KillaGramz, two popular Korean rappers. Heechul and Shindong are actually rapping in their styles for the song. Eunhyuk is imitating a comedian whose routine went viral. He didn't appear in the video, but he was in the teaser. Spring Days of My Life is awesome. I've got such a soft spot for Bae Giseong. How fantastic is he?
Yay it’s finally here! Hanryang also includes Kyunghoon, Heechul’s close friend, co-host on Knowing Brothers and a legendary rock band vocalist!! Bibi is a very popular K-hip-hop singer and DinDin is a South Korean rapper as well! The group dancing in the video is Ateez :)
Edit: i would recommend checking out Heechul and Kyunghoon’s Falling Blossoms and his solo cover of Evanesce + It’s You [160723], as well as his 2nd round performance of “Last Concert” for the King of Mask Singer!
M&D is a duo composed of kim heechul and kim jungmo (the guitarist) from the rock band called TRAXX, he is also a long time friend of heechul. they were supposed to debut together as a band under SM ent. ulsanbawi also featured heechul's friend gunhee, who is his best friend since he was still a student + jung chaeyeon (the girl).

universe cowards/universe hipsters is a duo composed of kim heechul and min kyunghoon (the vocalist of the korean rock band called buzz) , it started from their variety show knowing brothers. hanryang is their 3rd song they've been released, the other two are sweet dream and falling blossoms. the song features bibi, dindin (who also produced the song), and ateez (who made the choreo) also, shindong directed the mv with his team called walala ^^

Heechul's voice is often underestimated because he usually has very short parts in Suju's more recent songs and because he is so good at being funny in variety shows. I'm always glad to see this side of him.

This Spring Days of My Life is so iconic. Autumn Leaves is the other one I loved of his, his vocals were so strong and beautiful. There was also a gorgeous duet of him and Kyuhyun but the video got made private 💔.
The this made me think you haven't seen Kyuhyun's I.S. performance of Pretend Party with Jungmo on guitar. Incredible again, and the note at the end ...I have never heard anything like it 🥰

Yay Heechul! I think you’ve gotten a ton of fav comments and suggestions from everyone so far. I definitely think you should listen to all the M&D songs. They’re all so good. Also all his songs with his Knowing Bros friends. You must check out “White Winter” with Soogeun. Also please check out “Old Movie” Lyrics are by Heechul, music by Donghae, MV by Shindong. I bet you'll enjoy the making of Hanryang. You can search it on TH-cam. If I'm not mistaken it is called Knowing bros after School. ( Correct me if I'm wrong elf 😅✌️) it has 11-12 eps. Some are around 8-15mins per eps. And yes Eng sub is available!! 💙🥰
The guy singing/rapping with Heechul in Hanyrang is Min Kyunghoon the lead singer of Buzz. If you like rock and rock ballads then you should definitely check them out. His voice is top 5 in Kpop imo.

Heechul was my first kpop crush and he deserves his own reaction, I"m so glad you've found all these. I sought out all of Heechul's solos and I especially like The Way An Idol Breaks up (live), from super show 3, it's a very different sound from Heechul but appeals to me. Other favorites are Silhouette, Soul, Close Ur Mouth, Melody (ft. Bibi), Sarang (Leeteuk and Heechul), Breakups are So like me (Kim Jan hoon).
Hurraira, you are absolutely right! Heeechul did loose his confidence as an artist after receiving a lot of backlash when his voice cracked during 'U' live broadcast back in the day, plus the accident made things worst. He slowly regained confidence as a singer during SS6 when Yesung was enlisted and he was in charge of a lot of high notes. His plan of solo album was put on hold, hope he will continue with the project and release his solo album soon!
just finished watching the entire reaction vid in google drive. as far as i can remember, yesung was asked in 2020 during kry promotions if he and heechul could do a rock ballad subunit, and he said he would love to. the subunit would be called super junior-AB (they both have the same blood type) up to this day, im still waiting for their subunit 😭😭

He really does downplay his talents! I was just thinking before starting this that he can do just about anything! Actually for KOMS the judge panel who are his longtime industry friends said they didn't recognize his voice coz they apparently never heard him sing. Because in shows he always does impersonations 🥲

All of super junior's funny things are like that: it's intended to be funny haha comedy peak, but they always accidentally make it too good with serious production quality and value, that it even beats serious stuff out there.

so im telling you now, listen to me if you want to check out something you will love too! dont know if you know already but the first song is heechul with min kyung hoon, they are both members of a comedy show called knowing bros and this is their 3rd collaboration but first time a hiphop song, you really need to check out the other 2 ballad songs called sweet dream, twices momo and the other members of the show are in the mv too, and falling blossoms.

oh my God I didn't know I needed to see you react to 'Charm of Life' until I saw this video. It just wasn't perfect because you didn't see it with subtitles, seriously, the song is already great and it manages to stay even more perfect knowing what is being said lol besides there's a version of it live on Super Show, but I don't remember which edition. I can only say that the lyrics are worth seeing. And continue with Heechul videos please.

Kim Hee Chul is the visual of SuJu and more so a dancer than a singer. SuJu already has too many great vocals so he barely got lines. On top of everything he broke his leg in an accident which made it difficult to dance as well. Then there’s this rock band called Buzz who debuted a year before SuJu and dominated the charts giving 1.5 generation idols a run for their money. The vocalist of that group is Min Kyung Hoon, the other rapper in the Hanryang MV. Kyung Hoon and Heechul met in a variety show called Knowing Bros and the two formed a duo called Universal Cowards. This is the third single from their joint venture. Kim Heechul is not a bad singer but his confidence was lacking beforehand but after being in universal cowards he’s doing really good. You should check the other two songs as well by them - Sweet Dreams and Fallen Blossoms.
