for those new to the Resident Evil Universe, the events of Resident Evil's 2 & 3 happen at the same time.
It's pretty neat how they tie in the storylines
thanks,.. i avoided this entire series as a whole most of my life, only to recently have gone back and played every game, they were on gamepass.. and as linear and simple as the gameplay was, the game literally terrified me at times, and was an absolute blast! i recall all the scenes from this one here.. that said, never realized they had crossing timelines, so thank you for that detail, may have to go back and check it out again!
It kinda fucks with my head that Nemesis and the tyrant were in the same area and never had a battle😭
@Nelo_Tejada there were all kinds of bio-weapons running around, you had Mr X, Nemesis, lickers, cerberus, hunters, zombies, a giant crocodile in the sewers, Birkin , I really think the next game should be the European mission that Chris redfield and the rest of STARS Charlie squad were on while RE 2&3 going on ( read the Resident Evil novel Caliban Cove, Umbrella's European bioweapons testing grounds) it would be nice to see Capcom do this project , highly unlikely that it would ever happen, but still would nice to see those events go down, not to mention see the smart zombies that they were working on there and the other bioweapons
@ I know but they were the main guys. I wanted to see them fight just once😭 we saw Dr.Birkin and Mr.X fight in Re2 and it was not wat I expected at all😭

Well the graphic is amazing.. but anyone who played with the original RE3 can confirm that it was much cooler to play, because there was the possibility to choose options which could offer different scenes and change the entire story. Also, it was longer.. the park and the clock's tower parts have been completely cut.
They should have made a DLC for it, I would have bought :D
Choosing options was cool, didn't change the gameplay that much, and the worm boss in tje park was not needed and one of the worst things back in the day due to fixed camera angles and bad shadowing
Bro the fixed camera angels were crap poor visuals having to shoot blindly or having to adjust right to shoot it was terrible, the re3 remake could do with certain improvements but overall I still like it and it's infinity better than the original, all the remakes so far are good and improvements to the originals including that garbage fixed camera angel poor visuals etc
@AizenS-fg1mr this is what nobody wants to admit. The og are nostalgia factories. We trip on the fun we had, the truth is re 3 og was trash. Tbe R1 dodge mechanism worked when it wanted. Love the game, but Nemesis is as scripted in that game as the new. They shoulda made Nemesis impossible like MR. X in re2 remake, but then you woulda felt way too uncomfortable with how small the NEW map really was
Original RE3 had more suspense and thrill, didn't need much action to keep you glued to the screen till the end. This one is just too overloaded with effects and failed screamers, and impressive graphics can't remedy it
Me and a buddy spent many sleepless nights playing the original RE together. Thinking about how we would be running into walls while smashing the interact button trying to find supplies feels so nostalgic.
Why after 20 years of evolution in video games and gameplay, you have to shoot 4 times at the head for killing one single zombie? Wasn't that one the weak point of them?

Most zombie games allow one headshot on easy mode
It makes the gameplay have more variety and keeping the element of surprise. Like playing on re2 remake and saw for a first time zombie get dropped with headshots, then you turn your back and the bastard is trying to eat you again, TWICE! It really spices up the old formula.
And to add, how do we know how much of the brains zombie needs, so maybe some of the shots are missing vital parts of the brain that keeps the corpse moving.
Some of their viruses are powerful enough to sprout a tentacle spike from where their heads used to be after you've blown it off, and that sh*t takes like 20 more bullets
RE3 looked absolutely gorgeous, probably the best looking RE remake. Shame it was so short.
Bro, they could have done better. There’s no church? They dropped a lot of things, like the second evolution of Nemesis? They wasted the chance to give us the best remake ever created.
They took out a lot. Dario’s daughter being chased and killed, the train scene where nemesis shows up the first time. Spiders, the hunters were basically fused. Man I had a list of what was missing. The amount of time it takes to beat the game is literally the amount it takes to do the mercenaries side game from the original. I still love it though

And well, just done watching it. Haven't played anything after RE6 due to responsibilities, and really enjoyed to have finally seen this one all the way through. The way they presented Nemesis when he crossed through fire and his head covering burn off was the best moment in the game. You laying there so defenseless on the ground and his massive footsteps loud in headphones with that bass + terminator sound :D Epic.
I hated and loved at the same time how Nemesis is annoying as f*** in this one unlike the vanilla game. But still not as annoying as Mr X. Although way more lethal.
It even makes you dizzy in this blurred vision mode when you turn to the sides, imagine 3 hours playing like that, it was horrible.

Will in game video game graphics ever improve? Looks like this game graphics, physics, could be from 2014. We’ve clearly hit a plateau in gaming graphics, movements. But for some reason no one ever seems to mention this.

This was a great game and just as good as resident evil 2 remake.
1. There´s only one Section in which you can fight many Zombies, that should happen more often in a City overrun by Undead. 2. Nemesis is too predictable; you can recognize at almost every Level Section when he appears. 3. The Choices you make no longer have Effects on the Game/Playthrough. 4. More Compact Story, so more like a Soft Reboot than a "Remake". 5. Less Gory than the RE2 Remake.

@@claireredfield7368 They also reduced the gore system and cut out good parts of the original, Nemesis was scripted, the zombies when looking at them I n the distance are sub 30 fps. They cut a lot of corners compared to RE 2 remake. Some people just don't have the ability to think critically about why RE 3 remake is not as good as RE2 remake..
