Emily, I just worked with Alec Baldwin two weeks ago on the SNL reunion and all I could think of was spending the summer with you watching his Twatt trail and the light speed dismissal. All I can say is it was my second time meeting Alec and he is such a warm kind and sweet person. I first met him 10 years ago as I was choreographing a job with him and Steve Martin. This was my second time meeting him and he remembered me he talked about his children that they were from 2 to 7 years old and how this has obviously been a really hard year for him I could not believe that he even said that I wanted so bad to say, I cried when the case was thrown out and then I remembered the judge, and then the other prosecutor who quit and it was something I wanted to tell him so badly, but it would’ve been so unprofessional and insensitive. Either way he seem to be carrying on. I can’t believe the strength he has and all of this is so complicated. I truly believe if I were him I would’ve taken a step back from the spotlight out of respect for the situation, and the poor woman’s family, but I can’t Know what that feels like and all I can say is he is a super kind human

No matter what anyone thinks of Baldwin, it was THE ARMOURER'S job to make sure no live rounds got on set.
After Brandon Lee and Jon Erik Hexum died on set, the Primary job of the armorer was to keep live rounds off the set.
Many ppl want to" get" Baldwin bec of his political opinions. I dont care what his opinions are.
They are really not germane to this case. The armamour didn't do her job. Her primary job. No one else is at fault.

After having served on a jury and felt what it's like to deliver a verdict, I have so much more empathy for the jury. Mine was only 2 days, jury selection and evidence day 1 and closings to verdict day 2, and we all talked about how exhausted we were and how much we struggled with ourselves. It takes a lot to pay that much attention and try to learn the intricacies of different charges besides just the completely new situation of finding our way in the courthouse. I can't imagine how drained those jurors are and how relieved to be done after so long.

She got a couple pounds of flesh for this and she cannot get Alec, so I’m terribly confused and concerned as to why she really wants to hurt herself by continuing to file against the judges ruling? This was ruled against her because of her own Brady violation. This is personal for her. Malicious Prosecution at this point. This is about revenge, not justice. Terrible display.

    • @disco.heaven

I genuinely believe she’s not letting it go because for years she worked tirelessly to prove his guilt and squandered that chance by disregarding a key piece of evidence months before his trial was set. Imagine working so damn hard at it being DOA because of a mistake you didn’t realize you made towards the end. It was clear in the HGR trial, Baldwin was the guy she cared about, HGR was a Baldwin trial preview and practice run. The best friends of HGR’s father handed over key rounds of bullets to the police the day she was found guilty and that messed Kari up. I can imagine she doesn’t feel closure and is fighting, albeit it unjustly, to fix that mistake. She needs to grow up and find closure and to understand she made the greatest mistake of her life so she can move on, so everyone can move on.

Kouri Richins: while I can understand why certain charges get separated in criminal trials, sometimes I don't understand when it seems so clear that they are connected, why they are connected. Often murder and money go hand in hand. Greed, life insurance, unwillingness to divorce, settle on custody arrangements, etc, cost people everything in the end.

In April 2023 the OG prosecutor dropped the charges against Baldwin if anyone remembers that.
So the case against him with ALL of the true applicable evidence wasn’t enough for the previous prosecutor.
Mary Carmack-Altwies & Andrea Reeb then quit their positions as special prosecutors.
Jason Lewis & Erlinda Johnson chose to quit working for Kari Morrissey.
That’s 5 prosecutors for an involuntary manslaughter charge? Hmmm sounds more like a malicious prosecution to me.
      Morrissey definitely has a vendetta.

Catching up on the replay crew. I don't get what Kari Morrisey thinks she's doing. It's like she's obsessed with the case and can't let it go. Yes, we get it...she really wanted to bag Alec Baldwin, so she should have been careful to avoid Brady violations! I can't believe that the appeals court will be open to revisiting this.

    Sarah Boon :
in case you ever read this; I heard your vindictive speech. Oscar Wild once said “A Coward Says it with a Kiss, but a Brave person says it with a sword” Your Passive Aggressive Statement of pages of Vindictive Words Reveal Everything We Need to Know About Who You Really Are.
My Prayers are for Your Victims’ Family and Not for You.
With all those accusations directed to the victim and his family of wrongdoings against you, your apology is an empty meaningless one, in just the same way an apology followed by a “But…” is not an apology at all.

I have a tin-foil hat theory about Kari that's come from some long conversations with some friends. Because we can't understand why no one in the DAs office had stopped her.
I don't think she cares about getting the dismissal over turned. I think this is more about getting the Brady violation removed because that includes the CSI. That violation against her makes things so difficult for the state on any other case she has touched. So I think Kari is just hoping some judge will overrule on the Brady violation, even if the dismissal isn't overturned.

Picking a jury via zoom is absolutely ridiculous. This infuriates me. Effing stupidity, get with the times. I don’t know why this is but if it’s because of some virus get over it. The flu has been around way before we were here and it’s going to continue. But this is injustice. It’s not fair to the person on trial and it’s not fair to the family of the victim if it is a possible cause for an appeal. Which I think it should be.
