I have the 1/8 and the 1/2 of this Mist Filter, and i gotta say it really delivers the misty look. Particularly the 1/2, where it can easily give a vintage type look when i'm doing edit in lightroom.
I use black pro mist 1/8 mostly, I will have to try these, not too pricey and I am intrigued by the magnetic system.

I have purchased several BM filters; mostly 1/4. I have a 1/2 being shipped to me; all my BM are from K & F. I use them for landscape; the B & W shots; as I like dark moody themes, come out perfect w/little or no post having to be done.
Nice video! I originally purchased the 1/4 but found it too strong for my still photography, so sold it and bought a 1/8 :)

the CON on any diffusion filter is trying to pull focus. I've tried using these on my anamorphic lenses and had to hunt like crazy to find my focus points.
So I came to this video to help me decide between the 1/8 and 1/4 filter (as the title suggests). You showed 15 sample videos (16 if you count the one of yourself) featuring the 1/4, and only *one* (!!) sample featuring the 1/8. What the hell??
Because to my eye 1/8 almost doesn’t do anything)
@@NOlimitsON Would’ve been nice to let the viewers decide for themselves. Many have said that the K&Fs are quite strong, and that a K&F 1/8 is comparable to a Tiffen 1/4 (and so a K&F 1/4 is more like 1/2). Maybe you personally prefer a stronger look, but others might not.
@@jamie.goodson yes and it is for this reason that I got the K&F 1/8. I do not like the overly blown highlights look for my style.
