Change sweltering to deadly.
that energy company doesn't care at all bc they have no competition. They should of keeping upgrading their facilities in regular time. Instead, they spent time to pray for hurrican comes from the "correct way" to dodge their facilities lol They don't think about how to prevent power outage, they ask customers to prepare for power outage for days so they don't need to try. They don't even feel such quality of power supply existing in USA is wierd.
Hey man, get a generator, and a window air conditioner. It happens every year, and it will happen again next year, and the next year after that.
What about the people that live in apartments?! Hurricanes don’t happen every year in Houston and when they do we don’t go four days without power. You’re only saying this because you’re in your home with cool air conditioning!
Maybe you should try sleeping in a 90 degree apartment or try sleeping on your balcony at night
@@ArielaGonzales I am smart enough to live where you don’t need air conditioning. It’s 54 outside right now. Good luck Ariela.

Gov abbot might have a nice AC and enjoying it right now .. He needs to ask California for some energy since California has “to much energy” from there solar panels ..
This just in... Center Point Energy announces huge rate hike is on the way !
Absolute insult of a response to the people of Houston. You call the result of millions without power "Prepared"? The grid was already at a breaking point but y'all wouldn't even care to push and check with all the time and money y'all had from us customers. There's funny business that reeks from all of this and I don't believe for a second Centerpoint was prepared. The sole electrical distribution company for the city of Houston and we get this God forsaken performance.
Houston deserves full transparency from Centerpointless!
Question: Why are we having all this trouble with the power grid since the choice was made to make Texas into a Mega region?
Just imagine the nightmare of an additional 50 million people living in the area. That is the goal of the 2050 plans, the population living in mega regions and half the country being no human use zones.?
No problem, they like it hot in Texas….they be real men
That is unfortunate.
understatement?
Benjamin Franklin didn't have electricity.
his kite did
We need water and ice please
They treating us like animals down here cuhs.
Governor Abbot will save everyone when he gets to it!
This Hurricane wouldn't have happened if Trump was in office. Y'all voted for this.
@@strangeroamer3219dint no trump ran for governor

How those Evs working for you??
Just fine actually. Our friends with an EV have managed to save their food by plugging in their refrigerator to their EV. They are very glad they have it. (Perhaps some day hybrid gas/electric vehicles could be used as a generators (some kind of "generator power mode") instead of people needing to buy a generator for emergencies. )
Wish I had one.
charging from solar panels while others search for working gas pumps, priceless
@@SteveBonario you know that isn't a bad idea. to bad it helps people so it will not be done.
They voted for it.
more than once
Over 105 degrees and people still have power in Phoenix, Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City. Texas needs to get its act together or people will be leaving the state.
What does the heat have to do with the loss of power? 😂😂
people are leaving in hearses
