Wound golf balls, steel shafted drivers, and cotton khakis, I miss the good’ole days. Tiger pretty much had #1 from this event til google went public 😂
"Woods vs Garcia" actually, it should be Garcia vs Woods because Tiger had several majors even then and Sergio had none. Sergio really thought he could beat/compete with Tiger. Not a chance.
That water hazard on hole-2 100% changed the trajectory of Garcia's career... one shot is all it takes to be the greatest vs. the "who"... it's truly amazing how 1 small thing will affect generations
i remember the announcers trying to set up a "thing" between sergio and Tiger. Nice try. 59:30. Young, still full of hope. Ill have plenty of others chances.......um yea......
If Sergio had got this one over the line who knows what today's Sergio would have in his trophy cabinet! He had the talent but when things didnt go his way he looked elsewhere to pin the blame.
He didn't live a perfect life, but he is one of the all time greatest athletes ever on the PGA tour with 15 major championships, 82 victories, and he's one of only three billionaire athletes. He'll be remembered after he's gone which is more than what most can say.
The beginning of the end of Sergio because he started to believe he could out do Tiger based on the crap the golf announcers were saying. Never happen or could have. Really, he could not compete at the level of Phil or VJ.
Sports is one of the few fields where random commenters and Joes will trash talk all time greats who are in the top 0.0000001% of their field. It's easy to post a youtube comment, much harder to make a pressure putt in front of millions with your dreams on the line. Have some respect.
@@wreckim on this day Sergio went up against most would argue to be the greatest ever. Players today would concede the tournament if they were in Sergio’s shoes or completely crumble
@@intmailmc I doubt you know him, or the "people that know him" at all, but even if that were true, it doesn't negate anything I said. He is, among the casual golf fan, one of the most popular golfers of the modern era. Maybe you don't know what the word "popular" means?
I lost all respect for Sergio after he made his fried chicken comment proving he was immature, dumb and that he was jealous of Tiger. I know Sergio tried to apologize but i never felt it was sincere.
That swing Tiger had under Harmon was perfection.
IMO the real beginning of the Tiger era 🎉 everything he'd been working on started to click.
Agree..1999-2009 was the decade of dominance for him

I miss the days when humanity could act civilized
Lol when was this fantasy taking place
Sergio García baby kid. Emotional too much and his game was based on the public
Not much love for mummy.
45:43 Sergio Garcia has amazing shots
Tiger you are still the best
A master at his craft
Woods hates his mom.
Nah❤ weird though 😊😊
LOL Tiger hugged Butch and Sergio more than his own mom. what a jerk.
He hugs her every day. Congrats on making a stupid comment.
Interesting ❤😊
Tiger broken marriage plus a body full of injuries. What a pity

John Daly, smoking, drinking and totally unfit. What a pity.
@@wittenberg5Thanks for telling us something we already know. How much does Tiger pay you to be his publicist?
If he didn't get married he would have at least 20-25 majors
Is a broken marriage the end of the world now. People get divorced all the time, not that big a deal

heard that.
This era when players were real competitive instead of todays choking players
Pretty sure Sergio Garcia is known for being a world class choke
