I got to know her well when I worked for CSE, where she was chair of the Governing Board. She encouraged me to apply for a Scholarship and study abroad, which I did. I owe her a major debt of gratitude.
Prof. Chinmay Tumbe is doing some pioneering stuff in India by spearheading the effort at IIM Ahmedabad Archives. It requires a special skillset and heart to bring to front the near lost heritage, in this case- of IIM Ahmedabad, Business Community in Ahmedabad and hence India. Fortunate for being a student of one of his interesting courses- HITCH (Hitchhiker's Guide to Business and Economies across Five Centuries). In rocket boys 2, it is shown that she left IIM before death of Dr. Sarabhai.But, as per record she left IIMA in 1972. Something is missing here
