Very informative session. The market cap analogy that u gave for uber to bmw and Netflix to Hollywood studios was stimulating! Thanks IIM-A for bringing him up!

Thank you so much IIMA PGPX! It was a very insightful lecture and most of all it was an eye opener. He was very blunt with his take on his own company, which is perhaps a very tough thing to do, but he did a fantastic job on letting people know where they are going wrong. There was a big dilemma with regards to Machine Learning and its implementation. One cannot be just a management guy and simply expect good returns by being conventional. This helped a lot, especially when it came from the top most executive of General Electric. Cheerio! :)

Hats off..on top of things as one should be. So much involved and thoughtful as a leadership resource. Need more people like you in the thinking space for our country and our corporate world. Corporates would need to shift gears faster than any time in history..do we have enough such leaders in our key corporate houses. Will our gigantic corporate houses shift to other segments as fast as it can. Digital as an opportunity sounds great however how fast our infrastructure will support the next generation to adopt digital needs of industry here and abroad is a big question..from employment point of view. A lil worried and excited too🙂

I respect your learned speaker but sorry to say that he is wrong in putting IOT in the 3rd column because I have worked on that technology in late 90s. One should be 100% sure of what he or she is talking about when its done at IIM level.
