- In this video, I take you through the day in the life an MBA student. Life at IIM Ahmedabad can get very fast paced with classes extending about 11:30 pm sometimes but even on so called chill days, when I don't have multiple classes, I can be stuck doing so many assignments and prep work that I can't tell where the time went. This is one of those days. Of course this is different from a reset day which I do once a week where I do all my chores, deep clean my room, do my laundry and that kind of stuff so if you want to see that, do let me know! I wish I could offer to share a hectic day in my life video with you all but alas! On those days, I don't have time to breathe. Picking up a camera is out of the question.

Mam u can I give my cat exam in the last year of graduation so If I will clear it the result will come in jan first week and I will get my graduation result in July or August will I get the admission in the cllg with the late result?

I am a NC-OBC, non engineering female having profile as follows -
10th - 91.2% (PCB)
12th - 84.4%
Grad - 71.76%
Course - B.A. (English) hons.
Work ex - 0

As per your chances - It is my personal belief that you should aim for a 99%ile no matter your background. That said I know someone who had a similar profile (but higher grades) and got into IIMC with a 96%ile

I’m a 25-year-old female from a general category background, and I’m considering switching paths to pursue an MBA. After three attempts at UPSC without success, I’m exploring whether an MBA would be a better fit.
Here’s my academic background:
10th: 10 CGPA
12th: 96.2%
Graduation (Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University): 6.5 CGPA
Master's (IGNOU): 75.6%
I don’t have corporate experience, but I’m curious about how well my profile would suit an MBA, especially at IIM Indore. I’d also like to understand the CAT exam preparation and what percentile I might need to make it into IIM Indore, or any good Bschool.
While my background isn’t corporate-focused, I’m determined to adapt and make the most of this opportunity if it’s the right path for me. Would appreciate any advice or insights on whether I should pursue an MBA and how best to approach this transition.

what skills should a student learn for BA Eco Hon (Ramjas) to get a good placement from DU? What are the job profiles available for Eco Hon students? Is there any difference in placement for BCom Hon and Eco Hon? I also want to do MBA from a top B-school. What should I do ??
Excel, Public Speaking and Communication. You can get Analyst, consultant roles. Eco gets more intense roles. Finance sector hiring happens here. i am not sure about Bcom. You can try your hand at cat in your 3rd year and see how you do. Results are out by Jan. If it's not a great percentile you can get a final placement and prepare alongside for CAT 2024

And, can you tell according to your experience, how much minimum cat percentile should i target this year, being PCB student EWS boy... 95% in 10th 93% in 12th and BSc life science biology [(from not so big tier2 or 3 college(family reasons,didnt had any other option😔)]..., combined score of 1st and 2nd year about 81%(85% is of the university topper)...

You should focus on both. CAT will get you into bschool but you need college grades for placements

Yes a lot of us just go and globe during presentations! Once the CAT series ends I will post some videos from presentations in class and you can see how it goes

I'd say consume a lot of English content - listen to English podcasts, songs, watch English shows and movies, try to speak to people in English, etc.

Some very nice and some not so much! In terms of lessons, I've learnt a lot of valuable lessons for sure. About life in general more than anything else. I was one of the youngest so often became the baby of the group

Yes I am working on the overall CAT prep video as we speak! As for CUET tomorrow, if you know it's not going to happen, you can relax and just take it for fun - to experience an entrance test. Don't stress too much about results and you never know what magic may happen

Is Macbook Air that you are using in this video compatible with all assignments, projects you have to submit at IIM? I am little bit apprehensive to buy it because of the sole reason of Excel which I am more familiar on Windows (and is simply better on Windows imo). But, macbooks are great for efficiency, battery life and longevity. Would you recommend macbook v/s Windows laptop for a person going to join MBA next year?
I have been using this MacBook since my college days and it has stood me the test of time. I use excel on the MacBook by using the official Microsoft office version provided by campus. I am a Apple support through and through. Portability is very easy

I always suggest that you aim for 99%ile. Whatever your background you cannot be sure what the competition will be in the year you take the exam. You also can't know which exact score will get you a %ile even if tell you ki 90 chahiye. That is why aim for the moon and you'll land among the stars
