DICE unit and VIDA or DICE and VDASH. While you can still use VIDA with newer Volvo's they moved it to a online system from what i can tell and so the older VIDA full fat program is no more and limited function on anything after 2015 i think. There isn't a one size fits all for a lot of this.
I do have VIDA but also have a VDD dongle, quite expensive but useful, it can do some function enhancement and telemetry. Something else for you to play with perhaps? Annoyingly the cellular coverage (for the dongle) is poor in my driveway, but otherwise a great gadget.
Hi, another useful video thank you. Quick question, does the reader you use have to be a specific type to go with the App you’re using or will any generic OBD reader do ?
Wrong or just less granular? My understanding is that generic readers should identify (for example) ABS faults, but unlike VIDA they won't say which wheel is problematic.

You should do a back to back scan with VIDA to show how extensive an app can or can't be :)

Give your MAF sensor a spray out I bet you get no faults next time .
Cool! Didn't know this existed. Can you read the transmission temprature for servicing the oil too?

any one will do :)
What is the name of app your using sir
It's called GaragePro OBD2 Scanner.
”Garage Pro” with one-off fee. (@1:20)
Error codes are wrong unless you use Vida on the older volvos.

Hi,
Any idea if this works on a C30?
As long as the one fault for engine doesn’t say “Broken” you should be good to go! 😉 Merry Christmas.
Vida is still much better than anything else for these...
