Just found your channel man. Looks great. It’s motivating seeing smaller channels hit milestones. And I thought my 80x40 was big.

Allow me to predict a future video "In this video we add Shipping containers for storage"... We always THINK we have SO MUCH space, then rapidly find out we don't lol. It's a funny conundrum. The more space we have, the more crap we accumulate and then need MORE space. Oh and PLEASE, I beg you. When you insulate those walls, please budget for some 4x8 sheets to line the walls with. I keep telling people to do this and a year later their shop walls, like about from the ground to 4 feet up are just destroyed.

Lol you never know! I never thought I'd grow out of the barn i have now, so we shall see how it goes! After they spray foam, I believe building something 4 ft up would be a good idea!

I recommend 4x8 sheets. So you have 8 foot high walls and can hang things. But I know it can add a few hundred to the cost.@@JakeHarrington

We built the same size building for the family cash crop farm in 1980. In 1990 we out grew it in square footage. In 2000 my Dad asked me to go with him to look at newer combines. I said "Are we building a new shop?" He just looked at me weird... I said "The newer combine will have 6 row corn head (to wide) & be at least a foot taller (to high) for current building. Never did get newer combine & got out of farming in 2010.

I don't know that I would need any room for large pieces of equipment, but you never know. It's a growing business, so it's hard to tell what could happen

Did you do anything on your own or get everyone to build this for you you?

The shell was put up by a pole barn builder, and the concrete was hired out as well. Everything else will be on us!
