He used a lot of tools off cam. Do you think the piece of wood arrived in that condition and the legs were manufactured perfectly. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful table but lots of tools and equipment were used..
They did it the easy way. To make your idea it would have to be done the proper way. Filling all the way with epoxy and then the flattening and polishing on all sides.
Watched a lot of these types of videos lately, most way more complicated. This is probably my favourite in terms of the finished product. Simple but stunning.
I can't believe the epoxy didn't end up on the floor. I have had togo hard core because of too many You Tube videos using tape and hot glue. Saying that, I really like the piece - it's a work of art.
Para un trabajo de esos, si se necesitan herramientas y muchas horas hombre, solo que ahi no muestran, o crees que todo ese proceso se hiso en 10 minutos y con solo las manos ??? 🤦🏻♂️🤣😆
Your what they call a beautiful imagination i just love your work . i would love to see you make one of a greek god like posiedeon or the kraken. or moses parting the red see i feel you could make these ideas come to life. cant to see whats next.
Beautiful works! But I can't help it that you used a test pen to pry open the bark. Electricians use test pen to test whether the wire has electricity.. Keep doing this beautiful piece!! Love it!
Absolutely beautiful! 2 quick questions....1. where did you find the ocean animals and 2. what did you brush on them before you placed them on the epoxy? Thanks!
I think he brushed them with resin! I've seen other folks brush anything they're embedding in resin early and let it cure- that way if there's paint that's not resin-proof it won't stain and ruin the whole piece
Awesome table and great job. I am curious of what brand epoxy you used as I have seen others and you can see the layers for each pour. With yours I do not see this, also how long between pours. Thank you.
Wish you had made it a full round table with surrounding showing aquatic life. Overall an island I meant would've been cooler. This one is awesome too!
Loved this video. Just wish they advertised what they used. For example what they used to coat the rays with? Or what they used to water seal or stain the wood? Among other steps.
What a fantastic video! When you get a slab like the one used in the video, are there any steps required (i.e. letting it sit to dry out, treating with a certain chemical) before it can be made into a piece of furniture?
I know I am two years late, but yes. The most important thing to do is ensure it's dry. Wet wood will rot, no matter what. The general rule is 1 year of drying for every inch thick the slab is. A kiln drying service will speed this up exponentially. I actually have a few slabs in a kiln across town right now!
Very nice looking piece. Tho i'm a little concern about the oil finish here... since you can't remove the excess on the sides and crevises wont it get rancid?
Beautiful table just one tip! Drill a wider clearance hole in the table base once you've drilled the screw pilot holes. Then you're not screwing the screw right from the off
Finally, a video of making epoxy table without 500 workshop machines & equipment. Thank youu
My thoughts
Here's another simple one. Without much tools

@@DashDrones big tools probably. That's a nice size slab.
I agree lol easy and simple video
This is the best DIY video ever straight to the point without 60 hrs of talking and 20 different machines 👌 fantastic watch
Despite not having tried to do anything with resin before, nor any woodworking to this scale, you make me want to do stuff like this! Great video!
It would’ve been cool to also make the whole table round with resin all the way around and different sea life in each hole
They did it the easy way. To make your idea it would have to be done the proper way. Filling all the way with epoxy and then the flattening and polishing on all sides.
That was the same concept I had more pockets of water
I honestly didn't see this comment before I wrote my comment which says basically the same thing! lol
Yessss to this idea!!!
I did something like that. Will be making a lot of tables shortly.
If you want to see it here it is:

Wow - what a beautiful design! Love the slightly rugged, but still elegant look and the addition of manta rays is so effective!
In your method, I would try thre darker( not too dark) pigment then lighter in layers. Trying to promote depth contrast. Love your work
Outstanding and something to strive for in 2023!!🎉
I’ve learned so much from you. ❤
Wow, thank you!
Probably the best use of a neon screwdriver I've ever seen.....
This table is giving me major beach vibes! Love the creativity with the manta ray design 🌊✨
Thanks so much 😊

It's amazing out this guy made this table and doesn't even own a power drill , using drywall screws. It looks great

Love watching you making a very beautiful coffee table to end. but gonna want to have it in my study room.
Thank you for watching and have a nice day.🙂
This... Is... EPIC!!!
I want one for my house!!! It reminds me of Moana and her grandmother!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you.
The wood would be beautiful on it's own.

Omg, it’s beautiful beyond words
Beautiful work and it has further encouraged me to pursue this hobby of wood work
"Honestly, I never thought a glow-in-the-dark hammer could look so good in art!"
This was hand made 👌👌👌to show your work was enough for me great minds👍🤛
Wow! I love the rays, the table is stunning! Great craftsmanship.
Wow and God is a creator that continues
Beautiful table. I personally would have kept the bark on but it's not my table. It's still a very nice piece that would look great in almost any home
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the manta rays. 💜💜💜💜💜
Glad you like it.

Muy ingenioso, hermosa mesa para café!!!! 👏👏👏👏💖💖💖💖💖
That's so cool and the water is so real looking
That was awesome 👍
Thank you.
Thank you for putting the detailed list of the stuff used. That’s very helpful
Me to. I'm looking for a list like okay. What's that? What's that?
Impressed that he put the screws in with a screwdriver
WOOOOOW 😳
Amazing!!!!!

Outstanding work Keep it up. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, will do!
I almost can’t even handle it this is so beautiful.
A very artistic design that's a step above the rest!!
Only the video for an irregular shape mold. Thanks for the idea. I am going to make the same mold you use. I have a same type of slab.
Have fun!
oh my goodness this is soooooo satisfying! Now to find where you got that transparent pvc!
Beautiful & very creative. Looks excellent.
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for sharing... Great handwork
So nice of you
I am in awe sitting here on a Saturday night watching your videos. I love your work. 🥰
Looks like something you'd see in a Renaissance Fair superstore, if they had superstores lol!
A Rear piece of Art. A Great work, thanks from Kolkata, India.
This is the coolest resin art in your youtube chanell i ever seen
So beautiful table 👍👍👍
Thanks for liking
I liked the live edge look before removing.
Absolutely beautiful! 2 quick questions....1. where did you find the ocean animals and 2. what did you brush on them before you placed them on the epoxy? Thanks!
I’m pretty sure he got the animals in a normal toy shop and he didn’t brush them with any thing
@@Akolada82 Actually, he did. It looked like it's probably resin to seal them so they don't make bubbles when he pours over them,
You can buy those ocean animals at Walmart
I think he brushed them with resin! I've seen other folks brush anything they're embedding in resin early and let it cure- that way if there's paint that's not resin-proof it won't stain and ruin the whole piece

Nice question. I remove excess oil from all over the table top including sides and the bottom with kitchen paper towel.
This came out so beautiful! I love it! ❤️ 😍
Thank you!! 😊
That’s the most beautiful coffee table I’ve ever seen using the wood and resin. Is the wood you used Oak?
I am not sure but I think it's Gum Arabic tree.
Wow! Awesome! I have no words! 😍😍😀
Wow Amazing 😲
Many many thanks
Amazed and inspired by your work. Fantastic keep rocking.

I loved the design of the table. A query; What type of varnish or resin do you use in the final layer? Thank you so much

Wow😍
