      I just got my first one the other day. I was set to take care of a adult. I ended up with a baby. I have had him for 4 days now. He has eaten once since then, he has not pooped that I have seen any way, he has eaten. I have bathed him once. I am going to get raw honey and give it a honey bath just for good measure, I may do this monthly for my frog. Every one says they are easy to care. They are and they are not.lol. But they are good starter frog. I named mine little P. He will get baths a couple times a week, I tong feed in a special feed tank, I don't want him eating dirt and such. Which I fear this has happened from being in the pet store, and not having enough moisture either.

    You are right. There are very few pac man bathing videos. Personally, I hate looking up pac man TH-cam videos in general because there are so many *live feeding* videos and the thumbnails alone make me uncomfortable.

    Never heard of "floating honey" until now. My new pacman (got him as a baby 3 weeks ago from an expo) has been acting strange and eating less lately so I was considering a honey bath. If I hadn't looked it up and found this video, I absolutely would've gotten something fake and made the whole point moot, so I am very glad you specified here. You make it seem so straightforward so I'm sure I got this, but wish me luck anyways!

    I just subscribed to your channel and really enjoy your videos. I want to get a pacman frog myself and I look at information since months now and still didn't even know putting honey in the water was an option. where i live(Flensburg, Northern Germany) the water is also of very high quality because we get it from Norway. I also think its really cool to see a Scandinavian exotic pet keeper. I have family in Sweden and am part of the danish minority here but I haven't seen many people in Scandinavia that are interested in keeping animals like that.

      @@JohanExoticGlobal I could get one right but I resist the urge to do so for a bit. I just like to be as informed as possible before I get a new pet. Also I want to wait a little to get a new frog or tarantula because I'm in the adoption process for a blind cat from Bulgaria right now so I will have to put a lot of time into that for a while (most of my pets are rescues). Actually a shame that not many reptile or exotic pet keepers from the northern part of Europe are on social media. I visit friends and family in Sweden sometimes (borås, emmaboda, Stockholm... ) but I would love to get in contact with more people that like those kind of animals just as much as me. But I really like your content and I already found a lot of helpful advice for all kinds of animals I still want to get!

The water stays at 80 which isn't to cool, or too warm. Then I do not have mess with water I have treat mine. • @JohanExoticGlobal
      @JohanExoticGlobal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I honestly do not know... Just a bath I feel wouldn't be needed, since they are not in dirt all day like pac man frogs. But if it's injured, it might help.. BUT I'm really not sure.. It might be dangerous and even deadly..

    • @glenjones6765
      @glenjones6765 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely, thankfully we only gave him a honey bath for about 5 minutes. So for white tree frog owners, **DONT** give a honey bath for costipation. Instead just give a lukewarm bath with no honey, feed soft foods and foods high in water (such as hornworms and worms), and if the frog appears to be eating the substrate/moss, replace the moss with a softer moss. This is what I got from searching on the web. Anyways, my frog was fine after some soaking, but just for future frog owners that are struggling with their frogs constiation.
