Thank you Blu and Reggie. Re relationship with prayer. I was brought up in the catholic religion, which I never felt comfortable in, especially with the saying of ‘God fearing people’ and having to go to confession every week and needing to make something up I’d done wrong to tick the box so to speak. Speaking to someone recently about they asked if you look back there is likely something that you got out of that time of your life. I realised it was ritual and ceremony. I live my life in ritual and ceremony and have always been guided by divine source even when I wasn’t aware of it. Most of my prayer is done in movement/dance these days. My dance room is an alter and standing at the centre of my circle I’m connected to the elementals and tree of life, my ancestors, guiding spirits.
Thank you for this deep inspiration. It nourishes me. I have altars throughout my home and outside on our homestead. Under trees, on the deck, the doorstep, by the stream. Life is a prayer and these symbols provide a focusing lens and living, charged reminder of our life’s creation. Bless us all…
The part where you talked about Reggie having suitcases full of altar equipment instead of clothes really made me laugh. I don’t have an altar yet but your conversation inspired me to look into it and see if it is something that I would like to incorporate in my spiritual practices. Thank you! :)
Yes! My altar and rituals have become my life. Whenever I'm upset I do an incense ritual and light a candle on my altar (and mini altars if need be in different rooms that each have their own purpose). It is really helpful. And remembering to say prayers/thank you's when you're grateful to feed the connection and not just take.
Amazing I shared how we in the west can have an aversion to prayer out of fear with a Christian friend and it made a real connection! And nice. This is the second time i saw best friends dress with scarlet and violet and know they had no idea that those are the Pokemon games right now. ❤💜

It’s honestly the most consistent work in my life. I make altars and find them no matter where I go. It’s always a place to find center and connect!

I watched lots of your podcasts Blu and they are beautiful, high vibe, inspired... Just lovely. But after a while I started to feel disenfranchised. As an older woman, I felt your white hot girl spiritual theme to be so lacking in variety, contrast and diversity. Becoming Blu is impossible for anyone who isn't a slim white hot girl. And if we all became Blu, love would be very boring. Not that Blu is boring, no way. She's beautiful and perfect and divine. But life without diversity is so boring. Reverence compassion and Action is being asked of you. Please hold space for your Brother LOVE is asking to hear a voice inside YOU that says God I can not live in this world any longer until ALL humanity lives in peace and abundance . Yes! My altar and rituals have become my life.
