I'll wager that even 14 years ago, Fairline's Phantom line of boats were a scary sight for the other yacht builders. Cost effective, cleverly designed, easy layouts and quality finish work EVERYWHERE. Hard to believe this is an "old boat" - but only in years. Looking ready to smooth out all the journeys that await, this Phantom has a bright future, I predict. Thanks again, Nick. And thanks to your mates for letting us all have a look.
It really does appear that this was a turning point for styling of yacht interiors. At 14 years old this boat still looks credibly modern (barring the odd few things) whereas ones even a year or two older can seem super dated.

I do like boats from this period. The galley for me is better positioned than the in fashion aft galley. It makes the boat more sociable. Good value for 300k and still looks fresh

I was expecting this boat to be a bit dated but No it is actually quite lovely, in amazing condition for her age as well, a credit to the quality of Fairline. Nice tour as always
I am pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to start to feel dated inside. But no. Probably because it does not have gloss finish inside. Great video as always Nick.
I really like Gloss Cherry wood in some of the older boats. I want dark wood instead of the gray or oak.

This boat is a real bargain! All the space, ergonomics and performance you could possibly want at a great price! So surprised but pleasantly so on a 14 year old vessel!

Wow what a boat for that money! Bet this was 1mil in ‘07. Somebody is gonna own a wicked nice vessel for 1/3 of the price. And one would think this is only a couple years old. Thanks Nick! Love this one too!

Almost perfect sub-50. Only thing I'd do is make the table in the saloon something that would drop to coffee table level to make it more of a "living room" social space than a dining room with a setee.
That table is electric, the switch under the helm navigator seat lowers the table so it can be high for drinks like a bar, medium for dining, and low for a coffee table.
It's a great boat, had mine for six years now, bought it from the same marina as this one is in, Salterns.
My main gripe is there is no storage under the seats in the lounge, it's wasted space, save for that, she ticks all of the boxes, and due to the groundbreaking style and design, she is worth the same money as when I bought her in 2015.
Nice Vlog👍and nice boat! That ridge detail on the side gives it a great profile and makes it look taller. When you nearly called the galley the head I thought, "Well, there is a sink with a drain in there, sooooo...." lol! 🤣 Just needs a watertight gasket replaced on the door to the storage/crew bed area, it was coming off in the lower left corner!

That's a really nice layout.
While showing its age a little in decor and wear & tear, overall it's in really good shape and pretty much turn-key. I actually like the floorplan on the lower deck! It does go to show you how much things have changed over just the past 14 years...
It's a beautiful boat but I'm sorry, when you lifted the bed and showed the toilet underneath, I died laughing 🤣🤣

I know you are all about positive energy and you have to keep good rapport with the people selling the boats as well. But I would love just one video where you find the boat you dislike the most and you just rip into all the design features you hate about it. I just think it'd be quite a hilarious video as a one off.

Well made bed, I dream of being able to make a bed look that good.
Despite others comments I thought she was starting to look a little dated, but nothing that a few touches & a bit of cash couldn’t fix. That said, I love the Fairline layout especially the galley position, it’s a lot of boat for the money, great tour Nick 👋🏻

This one is showing some age. It does look good, don't get me wrong! Just a little dated. Amazing how you get 3 cabins, 2 bathrooms, and a galley down there. Great use of space. The crew cabin is totally poitless at this size. Overall a very nice boat! Cheers!

A very very nice boat for the age and money. I so much prefer the galley down layout to the galley aft layout especially for the British climate where you wouldn’t mind being more onboard doing the cooking. The interior materials of this boat are still very up to date as is the exterior styling. Good simple engine, gearbox, shaft design. Definitely one I would consider...

Nice boat. Not a lot to fault there. Looks well looked after. I love the separate showers and galley. Pretty aggressive looking. Good low flybridge which doesn't spoil the looks I would like a central bed in the master and no hum of electrical panels while you are trying to sleep but thats about it.
::drolls:: I agree I like the gally at the bow is better than the stern, because people can come right in wet from swimming and I don't want wet bodies right next to my food, too many comprises have been made in modern-day boats for cabin space. Of all the boats I have seen recently on your channel that one was the one I liked the best, it had all the features I liked the best, and the right size. I could live on that.

Great looking boat
I really like this one! The interior looks great, ample space and seating and that crew cabbin makes for exelent storage. Outside looks a litle dated but I would love to spend my summers on this. Thanks Nick

Layout is still the best for this kind of boat, do not like interior colors but this is a great solution for the money, only problem is maintenance expensive as a million £ yacht
And I thought the little window by the helm was for hand signals should the indicators fail.

Fresh and still modern looking
Fabulous boat and personally I like the galley down layout better than the galley aft in this size of boat as it leaves the upper area more open for social gatherings.
