There is an error. The Almoravids originated in Mauritania 🇲🇷, where they settled along the banks of the Senegal River and invaded Morocco and the Iberian Peninsula. But that’s not all. In Mauritania, there was the Kingdom of Ghana, which was established in the 1st century AD and fell in the 13th century AD. There is also the city of Walata, built in the 1st century AD, and the city of Ouadane, which was constructed 3000 years before Islam, meaning 4400 years ago from today. In Ouadane, the lost city of Atlantis is said to exist. Please correct your information.

@@fhirvhdyg5gjyefhitzaphgbiu748 Bro This is not true. Abdullah is the founder of the movement and the unifier of Sanhaja, but the founder of the Almoravid emirate is Yahya. Even the sources mention him as “Prince Yahya” (refer to Ibn Khaldun’s book). The state was founded in Chinguetti in an area called Qanouria (which is Mauritania and), and the first capital was Azougi in central Mauritania near the borders of the Western Sahara (refer to the book of Al-Bakri Al-Andalusi, printed in the 11th century). As for Yusuf bin Tashfin, his place of birth is unknown, but there is no doubt that his origins are from Mauritania because of his ancestors, and he was the one who penetrated Oued Noun. With Abu Bakr Lamtouni and Abdullah bin Yassin, and the Almoravids at that time occupied Morocco starting from Souss, Sijilmasa, Barghawata, Fez and the Rif, which belonged to Maghraoua and Bani Yafran. King of Morocco does not mean anything, and it is not written King of Morocco at all lol

There is a huge inaccuracy that no one can blame you for it, since this has been sold by the Moroccans as a history. Saying that Mauritania was conquered by the moroccan Almoravids is not true at all since Almoravids were a group of Mauritanian tribes (Lemtouna, Gdale, Messouva and Lamta) who united when the Emir of Lemtouna Yahya Ibn Oumar came from pilgrimage with the Tunisian scholar Abdullah Ibn Yassin to spread Islam amongst the Sanhaja Tribes in the deserts of Mauritania before camping in the Island of Tidra next to the Mauritanian city of Nouamghar (situated in the middle between Nouakchott and Nouadhibou) and from this period of camping on the island they got their name (al Mourabitin) « AlMoravids » after that they started conquering and forming their state with the Mauritanian city of Azougi as it’s capital in the period of Abou Bakr Ibn Omar the Emir who started the expansion north conquering Morocco and creating the city of Marrakech where they would later move their capital from Azougi because it’s closer to their northern territories that go as far in the north as Spain.

Not really, it sounds like a pit of hell when u describe it.
The country is set to export gigantic amounts of natural gas in coming months, work offshore is almost over. Plus it signed a deal with EU for Green hydrogen production, cuz of all the deserts, wind and sun its expected to be one of the largest producers of GH in the world, production is expected to start 2027.
It’s economy is the fastest growing in that region. It’s a safe and stable country in a very messy region.
