People really sleep on Dungeon Family I love everyones style and they are true storytellers... This was a good time for Hip Hop fun positive uplifting and we cant forget partying safely. Now 2016 people dont dance nomore all they do is shoot.... Only a few still holding it together... I wanna kick it again and have fun without worrying about if I will make it home safely.
I totally agree....that crew was real consistent lyrically & production wise. Many may disagree but, I think Goodie Mob was the best out of The Dungeon Family. They reminded me of the southern version of Public Enemy.
Brian Smith If you mean the first two albums, I agree. Particularly Still Standing. But Goodie Mob took a tough turn starting with World Party. It wasn't their fault, though. They were forced to do it by the record execs.
Camille Fanniel ......I agree Camille the industry is a mutha.....the "Soul Food" album made me feel like I grew up in Atlanta. I heard Goodie Mob most recent material I really like it. As a crew they remind "The Dungeon Family" as a whole reminded me of a southern version of "The Hieroglyphics" collective of artists with lyrics & production skills.
