This is fire, esp. for someone whos come out of the painter world and is trying to re-program to understand design techniques. In painting, there is often talk about the 'S' curve, also when it comes to guiding the eye. But a Z and an F are way more concrete and workable. Thank you for educating the childrun.
Once you said hierarchy can never live without ...... I said Contrast in my mind XD Does it right We need to Creat Contrast in font weight or shape size or color the create focal point and make a hook then take him in the little trip in the design of course with the help of white space And that make me think of all the principal of Graphic design being connected to eath other I'm still learning it's just 1 month and I'm so happy to find your channel Thank you
1. Visual hierarchy is a bit concept in theory 2. Background is also underestimated 3. Hook shouldn’t be forgotten, but at the same time there shouldn’t be many hooks
Satori Sensei you have help me save and grow my graphics design skills over the years so let me say thank you this time sensei... i appreciate your work masa🙌🙌👍👍

I reckin is not about the position of the information, it's about the size and contrast...if you pay attention is like layers where the second hierarchy is in a layer behind the first element....and this happen because the contrasts

You're the best Satori! It's the way you analyze and put together awesome stuffs. Do you in any way have like a full course for graphic design? If yes, please link me up on where to get it and if there isn't i'll be looking forward to one and more. Thanks :D
Good info here. However I have two critiques 1. The example in the thumbnail isn't in the video, which feels like a bait and switch 2. The editing of the video, with all the text effects, feels like a whole lot of pizazz and AI and not necessarily useful. Thanks for the hierarchy lesson!
Go and watch my content from 6-7 years ago lol.. It's terrible in quality. And actually in this video today my camera was unfocused 🙇 Keep going and try and make your content different from the saturated things already out there

Yes, if the culture you are designing for reads from left to right, then flip it
@@SatoriGraphics thank you

His Satori i need to know What if I flip the F pattern horizentally is it bad
No that would work for a lot of cultures that read from right to left

I have a completely different angle of hierarchy than you. But the way you explained it, I disagree with my angles.
lol thanks for the comment
None of our customers understand nor care about hierarchy. They want their stupid logo huge, and no white space. Can’t reason w them 😢
Depends on what kind of clients you have. Good clients listen to their designer, low quality low tier clients often don't
I also make a youtube channel about graphic design, but your video is so another level 😭 i feel tiny 🤏🏻🤧
