They are quite reciprocal creatures, you give them love - they love back, you don't and they will just treat you like a means to an end. In addition, you often have to earn their respect & love - it's not given freely unlike a dog. If you connect with a cat though, they can be very affectionate :)

I struggle with a little bit of acne as well but mainly blackheads and I was in the car with a little girl once and out of the blue she said, “ Bella has so many freckles” that hurt a little 😢
