Here it is! My film from the Gorge 50k race. Thank you to James Varner and the whole Rainshadow Running crew (rainshadow-running.blogspot.com/) for a FANTASTIC experience and one of the most beautiful ultramarathons I have run to date.
The Columbia Gorge sits along the north Oregon border and is a short 40min drive from Portland, Oregon. Check out all of the waterfalls here on your next trip! Multnomah Falls, Fairy Tale Falls, Oneonta, Horsetail, etc.

Mr Ginger, yet another amazing race and video! We'll done. I love your attitude man, I am an ultra runner from Australia and I recently had a terrible accident. I severely broke my jaw in 3 places and have undergone two major surgeries to put my face back together. I dream of running again soon. Your videos inspire me more than you will ever know and give me an escape from the constant pain. Keep making awesome videos dude, I'm counting on you!

Thanks for this! I ran it too and this really brought it back. I notice you didn't seem to film much during that horrible (at least for me) last section between M-Falls and the finish. Just as well to remember the fun parts and forget the rest.
I was screamin' down that last section and didn't want to pull the camera out to risk slowing or falling, haha! Also, that was when it started hailing like crazy so safety was of utmost concern.

Wow, this course was just amazing! Your race videos keep getting better & better. One thing I wish you did during your shoe review videos is show you running in the shoes you are reviewing for a minute or so. Really think that would add some more excitement and motivation to your great videos.
I've toyed with the idea, but it never quite shows anything important other than squishy-ness. But I'm definitely considering it!
Its not so much about showing what the shoe does. I really enjoy watching your race videos because we get to see some nice scenery and it kinda motivates me to put on my shoes when I feel a little lazy. Guess watching you enjoy a run stokes me to do a bit more.
Absolutely amazing trail... it would take me a week to finish, because I'd be stopping to take pictures every few minutes.. :P
